It's not the 3k lances that kill you, it's the 5k ones. The longer the fight goes, the stronger those lances become. If you're dead set on monk tank, bring in someone who has brd for Scherzo. It's not a guaranteed win though even then. Thing to keep in mind though is that both Lance and the move which increases Lance's strength (Damsel Memento? The one that heals Ixion) can't be used without TP. After a particularly nasty Lance which happened between Scherzo castings, a friend on monk successfully held Indrik until he unweakened by going full evasion and minimizing the tp Indrik received.

I'm not dead set on Monk tanking it, I just figured it would be better than Ninja because of the HP pool to sponge lances. I'm gonna try it as Ninja later using Migwari and evasion gear, with Mnk I only used PDT gear and took quite a few hits.

Is there a bot, or a macro, or a jp button that automatically trades items to a ??? that requires 2+ items in your inventory to pop?

I think that one exists because occasionally you can catch broken bots in selbina, but I'm not sure of what you'd use. EliteXI might have this in a scripting feature, but I dunno as I am hesitant to spend the 25$ on it when I have a free tool that does 80% of the same crap.

I'm curious, on other servers do people use the LFP option completely wrong? Do you constantly have level90's with their flag up that don't want an exp/te/cruor PT, and refuse all invites or don't respond at all? I never find people for exp pts with the LFP option anymore, the only way to find reps/members is to shout in jueno. Is this just something on my server, or did everyone just completely forget what the intended use for the LFP feature was for?

Most people I know don't actually exp anymore and generally just use the flag up as events start or dropping when needing elsewherean invite in the alliance/party at LS events. And yeah I know /pcmd add xxx but most people still do it so you can see who needs inviting without having to check LS list and the such.

Finishing Ochain tonight probably and have played PLD maybe once in the last year due to Abyssea. Wtf are people subbing for it? DRK/WAR/DRG? Is RDM a lot worse nowadays with PLD getting native Phalanx and Tranquil Heart being subbable? Feel a bit clueless thinking about it which is depressing giving how excited I've been to get Ochain.

Obviously SiS I know but just wanting a general idea. No Almace atm but will be doing that soon.

Pretty sure Black Belt/Beir belt/Beir +1 are all better than an elemental belt, and I think Hachiryu are better than Usukane. Not sure but I think a decent attack earring (Aesir probably) would be better than Kemas unless you're attack capped.

has the black/beir belt vs. ele been tested much? because i would think the boost from 5.5 ftp to 5.6 might still come out on top? i think i'm pretty fine on att, i almost never sub anything other than war

Correct. Double Dark/Light is as far as it goes.

afaik victory smite is 2.25 fTP so 3 additional hits and gorget = 5.35. Add an fTP belt for 5.45, ~1.8% increase which without calculating in depth, seems beatable with other options.

Add the fact you are subbing war, using atheling, epona's, brutal, apocalypse; so additional hits are likely and so the effective fTP can go even higher and elemental belt becomes an even smaller marginal gain.

You can use allseeingeye to have the items already qued up in the trade window.

90% of the time you should be using GH/RR/Apoc IMO.

There is no need for a BRD for Indrik. I 2box this thing regularly; drop apoc atma in favor of cloak and dagger (or that other eva atma that's better which I don't have yet) and TP in an evasion set. The thing is a joke in this manor and won't even scratch you. Lances never did more than 1.9k and I never even bother swapping to MDT set for it; only does a few, maybe 3 or 4 in the whole fight because it rarely gets enough TP.
