I don't really see it being 4manned~ I would do something like WHM, MNK, THF, Brewer, and have the brewer hold there brew and try to squeeze 2 out.

Jinpu is always a good one, have personally done a couple times with that one. Blade: Hi works as well, I am probably not the best to ask about Brewing because I don't really know how to get the most bang for your buck with them.

it's a bit of a longshot unless you already have it, but last week watched a friend 2-shot rani w/ cloudsplitter.

realistically tho, jinpu, aeolian edge and wildfire are best for magic, and i've seen good results w/ victory smite as well.

I haven't done Omega since 75cap more than once, iirc, but I imagine that as long as nobody is terribly gimped that nin rdm blm whm (or dnc) should new able to take him down @ 90.

NIN, RDM/DRK, SMN, WHM probably could.

NIN tanks. SMN does damage (magic or physical). RDM/DRK handles pods (nukes), stuns Colossal Blow, and keeps MP up. WHM keeps people alive. Depends how good your players are.

RDM would be dual boxed by the NIN, probably. We can also get a BLM/PLD/WHM, and a MNK/DRG. I'm assuming NIN, SMN, RDM, BLM, MNK, WHM?

Sorry for long post. Couple Dynamis questions if anyone has the time.

Can anyone elaborate a little deeper on what WS/Magics proc in Dynamis? Is it basically anything? I know TEs/jobs stuff (get 5 TEs , Mnk/thf/nin/rng/bst = JAs, War/pld/drk/drg/sam = WS, Brd/blm/whm/rdm/smn = magic)

Not too conserned about JA procing. I’ve noticed anything single targeting works. All steps/flourish 1s as /dnc, Mijin Gakure, Feral Howl, Charm, Voke, Steal, jump…etc (and lots of single target pet ‘Ready’ moves). So no issues there.

More looking for info on procing with WS and Magic.
As for WS, is it any WS? So far I’ve only been able to proc with the 71 quest-able WSNM ones (Decimation, Impulse Drive, Blade: Ku). I thought I saw someone proc with Blade: Jin before but not 100% sure. I personally have NOT been able to proc with B: Jin/Yu, Rampage or Bora Axe. Onslaught either but the axe is from the Abyssea NM which I’m not sure has any relevance. Tried those a number of times with no luck.

And for the mages, can spamming dia proc? I could have sworn I’ve seen sleeps and silences proc as well as IV/V spells. I have proc’d a with Hyoton: San as well, but not with Ichi/Ni… will any spell work?

Lastly, trying to find the best solo and duo combinations for my buddy and I farming currency.
I’ve got Bst/Pup/Smn/Nin/Whm/Blm
He’s got Bst/Pup/War/Mnk/Dnc

Usually when i solo, i leave with ~75 coins, duo we get roughly 130 (65 each after we split).

We seem to do the best as both Bst/Dnc focusing on JA mobs. We can usually proc all JA mobs but miss some here or there (they can be stubborn). At our camp spots we occasionally link the other types. I’d say we proc 50% (if not less) on WS mobs and never on Mage mobs.

If dia works, would one of us going /rdm or /whm be a better option?

Could be wrong but I was always led to believe the '+15' amount was their proc rate.

If that's the proc rate, where can I find how much defense/evasion the weakens defense/weakens evasion actually lowers? I couldn't find anything on wiki..

Im pretty sure its been mathed out that STR or DEX katana would be your best bet.

I am pretty sure the amount listed is the amount it lowers evasion/def. I vaguely remember a few claims that the proc rate varied based on the delay of the weapon, with higher delay weapons having a higher proc rate, but I don't think any parses were posted to prove it.

Looking for advice for best Jishnu build. Currently using:

Aias/Light/Pixie/Triumph
Loki/v3+1/Dex+7/Rajas
Vigilance+1/Light/Byakko/Lithe

I know it might be a mess but I don't get much playtime on RNG to mess around with different setups.

We just did Omega the other day as NIN/WAR RDM/NIN WHM/BLM, easy stuff. NIN tanks, RDM/NIN buff/debuff/nuke pods (Bind works), Chainspell nukes at last 20%, WHM Stuns and cures. Bringing a 4th for magic damage proved to be unnecessary; It is hella weak with magic screen up, and NIN can generate enough damage to hold hate and make it shift with Ni/San nukes while physical screen is active. Don't really recommend RDM nuking Omega til the end, if it resets hate on the NIN while a pod is up and on the RDM, it goes south in a hurry. Killed in <10min.

Ultima is even more of a joke; we did it as NIN RDM, but i'm 100% sure i could solo it on NIN/DNC.

Also, Kirin DEF/ATK to cap if possible, anyone?

You don't "make it shift", omega switches from 4 legs to 2 legs and back on a 2 minute timer.

Any WS can proc, I've seen CDC/Torcleaver proc, some low level ones, etc. WS proccing is really terrible though cause it's so random, and the EP mobs against reasonably geared people are squishy as hell. Frankly in your situation, best bet is to find a camp with mostly JA mobs(someone in the Dyna thread mentioned one in Xarc, I'm 99% sure I know which he means from farming there, ask me ingame tonight or tomorrow for the spot) and camp there.
