How do you type the spellcast variable for equipping a certain category of weapon. I know that <if EquipMain=" "> works for the specific name of the weapon, but I'm wondering what you put for weapon types (scythe, sword, etc.).

Spellcast can't do that.

You can't detect weapon type, either list all the weapons of the type ("Weapon1|Weapon2|Weapon3") or set a variable manually

<equip when="precast" set="$Weapontype"/>

and have a set for scythe, sword, gaxe, etc. Change the value of weapon type with "//sc var set weapontype <Type of current weapon>"

Lots of competition, lots of luck necessary for your abyssite to upgrade, and Maere/Brulo will almost never double drop. As far as claiming T2s, Chione is the one you want but it drops BLM so there will be a lot of people after it. Also, you'll want as many people in your group to have colorfuls as possible if you want to claim, and it's a pain to constantly make your friends farm up more colorfuls on their own.

It's not that it can't be done but it's a pretty brutal trial, not for the faint of heart. Harp is definitely nice though.

This^ doing a harp for a LSmate and just finished souls. You could probably knock out 2DD weapons in the same time frame.

Anyone familiar with Xbox gamertag ID linking with playonline account? I am using my same xbox gamertag but I am still getting the POL-5314 error message. The only thing that changed is that I went from a gold member to a silver member.

Subbing RDM gives me MAB2 88AGI
BLM MAB2 90 AGI
RNG (@44) gives me 93 AGI

Would the 3 AGI (possibly 4 if the sub is lvl 45?) outweigh the MAB2? Basically how much AGI is equal to MAB2?

Basically what I was asking was how much is "MAB2" trait for sub BLM. But if it's 24, then yea /BLM wins hands down.

I keep getting dropped from full HP. Only time it didn't instant death me, was when I was weakened and took 1K damage.

Theory was that if you're bio'd from a previous tusk or aren't the main target of tusk then you'll be hit with insta-death. Not sure if this was ever dis-proven, can always just stun it or run to the left/right to dodge.

How much HP do you have? I often wonder if it's an absolute value. Anecdotal, but my NIN would get about 2.3-2.4k HP in Scars zones if I recall correctly and it never killed me except once when I was below 2k HP. However, a taru THF in my group had about 1.7k HP and would be dropped every time.

I only have about 2K, only 3 abyssites of merit.
