You get them when you change back, but you cannot access while with another nation.

Absolute minimum setup for AV? Assuming every job is available with close to perfect gear, relics emps etc.

It is still easy to fail with that even w/o error if he decide for bene,pd or w/e other 2hr that will make one PD wears off before you finish. 2SMNs would be much safer, COR might be better then 2nd BRD too especially if first have gjallahorn and harp (March,Minuet,scherzo) DA/crit rate rolls, First SMN after garuda can do favor from Ramuh and COR can try recharge ability after DD use it.

Inb4 why scherzo. Im not sure if Perfect Defense overwrite itself IF it overwrite then scherzo and earthen armor wont be needed of they dont then they probably will.

Hardcap on Counter was found to be 80 a while ago by Appie in one of Kirschys topics.

You do not need large boxes to get refresh augs on hairpins. I think people aim for small boxes just to eliminate the chance of KI's in the boxes.

I believe the best way would be the min azure required to get TEs + highest amber before big boxes + capped pearl. Then fight a mob that doesn't give a light for however your killshotting.

The pop items are replaced by KIs, so the rate of augmented items in gold chests is the same. The only difference is with capped amber, you have a better gold box to blue box ratio.

He asked for the minimum amount, I gave him the minimum amount. It will work most of the time. Minuet V alone is not going to cap attack on AV, Minuet IV is a much better choice than Scherzo (which is going to amount to nothing most of the time anyways.) You are right about a COR over a second BRD though. Victory March/Minuet V/(Minuet IV if your group has Harpe) + Fighter's Roll/Chaos Roll. Rogue's Roll isn't exactly choice when you have Mighty Strikes.

Can you point to some testing that shows AV has over 550 def? Replace the useless bard with a thf/dnc if you want drops, or a cor/dnc if you don't.

I'd say the DEX/ACC path if you're planning on swinging at anything with moderate evasion, considering the dearth of RDM's melee gear. If it's for stuff where you're fairly certain accuracy won't be an issue, then the STR/ATT path.

Fame? Try a couple other tahrongi quests first, just because wiki says fame level 1 doesn't mean that it is fame level 1. I'll go check when I get home in the morning, my mule has only done 1 quest in Tahrongi (Boss clear) so if I can't flag it that means you need 1.x or some bullshit.

Ok. Looking to get back into the game next weekend. I'm trying to find that thread where you can download all the updates and BS a lot faster if you were to do it going through POL. Can anyone point me to that thread?

Also I don't have windower on this laptop. If you find that thread, is that windower as well or just update? If not, wheres the most recent windower thread as well?

I'm not quite sure how you figure. 550 Defense would mean that, with Dia II, you'd still need 1100 attack to cap cRatio with a two handed weapon. You're not anywhere near this with just Minuet V.
