Does Evasion have a cap? (i.e. to a point where stacking more Evasion+ gear won't have any effect)

From a BLU and THF perspective.

Could 3 people reliably beat Verticle Conflux #3? Looking to farm some items out of there that I really don't want to pay for, but that horn fucked our group up hardcore last time we tried it.

To the above, it's relative to mob accuracy, so I don't believe there's going to be a flat number you can aim for. You would need to be more specific on the mob you're asking for.

There is no "in general" - any of those are good soloers, depending on the NM and what you're after. RDM/--- + Kite can kill most, but few !!'s or TH. NIN/--- Good for solo+red !!. THF/--- Good for TH if don't need !!. DNC/--- Similar to nin but with better cures if you can't shadow everything away. Pick an NM, then look at what you want from it before you decide on a job.

If I'm not mistaken, players can only reach an 80% evasion vs a mob's accuracy. So 20% of the time, they can still hit you. And it varies on what you're fighting.

Looking for advice on DNC. Namely, I'm looking for the caps that should be pushed for (and what those caps are), and which to prioritize. Stuff like Dual Wield and Crit Hit Damage. Also, do Double or Triple Attack take precedence over either of the above? I know they have diminishing returns, so what point do other stats overtake them? If someone can post a "Best in Slot" TPing and WS set to aim for, I would much appreciate it.

You wouldn't want to use Cataclysm, as Rani will resist it. If you must use staff, Earth Crusher would be better. Other options would be Victory Smite and Flash Nova.

If anyone else is aware of something I'm missing, I'd be happy to learn.

Did 'okay' with Sanguine Blade on Rani a bit back, can't imagine Cataclysm would be much worse provided you have the right atma. of course, you're not going to be doing multiple Rani's on one brew, which might be the point...

Yeah Flash Nova works well, was doing a consistent 11.3k on WHM.

Go with smite if you have it, does about 16k per + you get light damage.
