Is that retarded +BloodPactDuration for being over skill-cap back at 75SMN still applicable to 90?
If so, I got a lot of work to do grinding out smn magic skill....was capped for lvl75, and that shit was horrible to work on even back then.
There is no fast way with 5 day minimum on evaluations. At the lower ranks, somewhere around a merit point's worth of EXP should be enough. I don't think any definitive numbers on AN requirements have come out due to the weird scaling it does the closer your medal gets to expiration, but even if you do 5 Ops per cycle, I don't think that'll ever be enough for an upgrade alone, so you'll have to fight.
Complete noob when it comes to spellcast but... Is it possible to have spellcast read what buffs you have, and determine gear accordingly? Like.. Marchx2/Haste would equip Ningi+2 instead of chainmail? Shit like that?
If so, does anyone have a NIN.xml template I could possibly work off?

To answer use:
Code:<if BuffActive="* March|Haste" status="engaged"> <equip when="engaged|aftercast"> <body>Iga Ningi +2</body> </equip> </if>
Actually, if I'm reading that code right, that would rule would be active with just march or just haste. The "|" in '<if BuffActive="* March|Haste" ' effectively means "or". Not and. And it doesn't recognize when you have double marches as opposed to just march+haste. As spellcast can't actually tell when you do.
You could nest rules to make it require both haste and march, like:
<if BuffActive="Haste" status="engaged">
<if BuffActive="* March" >
<equip when="engaged|aftercast"<body>Iga Ningi +2</body></equip>
</if>
</if>
Or use and advanced rule to allow for two separate buff checks in a single rule, I think.
But to get SpellCast to check for both marches you have to start using autoexec to register when you've received 2 marches and that neither has worn off and use those to set variables. Which was too much of a pain in the ass for me, so if you need details on that ask someone else. ^^;
Never really put much effort into it since Whiskers is infinitely better, but what would an upper-mid range Thermal Pulse set look like, BA up? Maybe it's because I didn't play BLU in it's /thf cannonballing heyday, but I'm having trouble thinking of any half-decent VIT pieces, and ffxiah gear set search is just giving me people using full INT/MAB setups.

Blood cuisses augmented with +7 vit
neck: Artemis/genesis/Ugg/Forti
Does anyone how much of a damage increase the Oneiros Helm is and is it worth using on war?
All of those garbage augmented items in gold chests are the best cruor to gil ratio (excluding Wivre Gorget), so pop em and grab em.
somebody have /1024 haste values for hasso , unkai leg bonus and samba?
I did it the way I did because I didn't know he wanted and instead of or.
He could do it this way I believe if he wanted to check for all buffs first:
Code:<if mode="AND" BuffActive="Haste" BuffActive="Advancing March" BuffActive="Victory March" status="engaged"> <equip when="engaged|aftercast"> <body>Iga Ningi +2</body> </equip> </if>
Unfortunately, that won't work. Firstly, you can only have one buffactive attribute in a single if statement(except maybe in an advanced rule). An xml with that rule in it would fail to load. You get a duplicate attribute error when parsing the XML with firefox and and error reading element value when attempting to load the xml.
Secondly, there's only one buff ID for all marches. 214. Whether it's advancing or victory march, spellcast can't tell them apart. And it can't tell if you have more than one march. Buff ID 214 is either on, or off, with no way of seeing if you have more than one instance active.
This is why you have to use autoexec to track when a march is received or lost. Gaining a march would would trigger autoexec and turn on a variable. Gaining another march would activate a second march var. Once both march vars are on you'd have the rules flip to double march gear. A march wearing off would also register and deactivate one of the march variables.
Like I said, pain in the ass. It wasn't worth messing with for me, since I only wanted it for flash enmity rules. <,<;
What are the best mobs to farm pearl/amber on in Grau? VNMs?
Like all heroes zones there should be a light bonus from dominion ops so it won't take the full amount to cap. VNMs in heroes suck cause they have status auras and are elementals, when I amber farm there I just build amber on crabs and make some pearl from killing normal mobs. The detectors would probably be a good target for pearl since they die easily.
Edit: Forgot I had a question, what is the actual light amount for maxing chest quality? I had been assuming it was 128, but cleaving last night I was getting a bunch of strong soothing lights at 128, kept increasing azure all the way to 152 and still got a few now and then. If I max to 255 I only get max chests (save for the glitch t1 boxes) but gold for instance caps pretty obviously around 128 for mega-gold unless there are multiple mega-gold tiers too. I haven't seen anyone really test this much but maybe someone knows about it.
I'm having a hard time justifying putting more than 1 merit into tomahawk. Does anyone disagree with 4 savagery 1 tomahawk 5 warrior's charge?
I'm not too familiar with the dominion light boost.
Thanks for the help
