That's what I was figuring, just wasn't sure how much it all stacked up. So full DD go SS, and more support type AoA, probably SS when tanking as well for the HP boost. Okay, thanks.

Zone isn't going to change anything, and the newer the area the harder the Tier 1. You can try to find them around Rabbits in Vunkerl, but Konschtat is my go-to place for T1 VNMs.

Yeah lately I've felt like they're really spread out in Konschtat. been around flux 5/2, would you recommend a different area?

I OP to 2, check if there's anything, OP to 4, check if there's anything. After I've killed those easy ones, I OP to 1 and run north east along the path through the lizards to get a few more/repops, then end up at 2 and warp to 4. Repeat.

I find Vunkerl easiest by a long way, Attohwa used to be ok but the miasma pops up too much now. I guess I find it easiest because of the narrow corridors. All VNM in Vunkerl will follw this path starting between murex and amoebans by martello #1 and eventually hang around by bunnys.

I'm probably blind, but is there a guide, or even a simple explanation to red proc in Dynamis now? I trust you guys more than others places, lol.

The map isn't quite accurate because it presumes that all VNMs follow the same path. I've followed pops (prior to their going invisible to radars) and found that Vunkerl VNM actually take 2 different paths. Both are the same down to flux 4, then some go off to lurk in bats around Varney (and end there, going no further), but others continue south and go through taurus and gargoyle, eventually going through the off-map unmarked path south of gargoyles to end up in rabbits.

Once you've cleared rabbts and bats, it's easy enough to go to 4 and start working north to intercept any fresh pops coming down that path. All Vunk VNMs (t1, t2, and t3) will take the same path from 1 to 4 before splitting.

Misareaux has a similar two-path system, starting from 1 and breaking up at 00, with half going to 6 and half going north of 5.

Attowah is strange... they just seem to pop around antlions at 4 or cockatrices at 8 and don't seem to have an actual 'path'. It's like they just pop at their destination.

I find tahrongi canyon is the best for t1 -> t2 b/c after you roam/kill all t1s, they will all respawn near the mummy NM (clionid place).

Since the update which of Cara's +2 drops are common without worrying about yellow proc? Coin or Card of balance?

In that case, it's luck based. I had much better luck with coin than card. Across 15~ spawns, I saw 3 cards, 2 of which were with yellow proc. The coins were quite a bit more frequent for our group.

My experience with the new +2 items added to all the NMs is that they're all unaffected by Grellow. TH only.

Are you sure about that? I just did calad recently and got 20 cards and 1 coin from my carabosses. The 1 coin was on the one that we grellowed. Every fight was TH3 from whm/thf. Edit: they are absolutely affected by grellow. I am pretty sure that the drops were added similar to the heroes timed NMs. Some have a main and a secondary, others have a 50/50 chance at either.

Some additional info, I got the same pattern with the fish in miseraux also. Same setup, whm/thf + war/sam, except we let some random JP blm grellow the last few to upgrade her sam pants. Didn't see a single stone of wieldance until the grellowing started:

@Merciless: I'm absolutely sure. We used TH, we tried for grellow, we killed without TH, we killed without grellow. Over 15-16 kills, I saw 3 cards, and approximately 10 coins. I know the cards number exactly because I was after them for my Iga Boots.

Edit: I absolutely believe TH and grellow has an impact on +2 items, be they recently added or not.

I can't speak to Carabosse, but it's my experience that grellow procs definitely matter on Chloris. Without them (and with TH) we only ever got one card. With grellow we usually gets 2-3 cards and one coin.

I was pretty much spamming these spells (no particular order).

My skills aren’t capped (burnt whm from 50-90) but most at this point are above 300. I really didn’t have much trouble sticking spells.

Are other mages experiencing anything similar? Should I be changing up the spells I use or is this pretty much the norm?
I get similar things at times, it's just bad luck. We had me on WHM, a BLM, and a BRD cycling spells constantly on a mob and it just wouldn't proc for awhile. The melee would pull other mobs they could proc while we fiddled around with the stubborn mob till it finally procs. Its happened a few times during a run, eventually I'll just get impatient and kill it outright if it's hampering our progress in coin farming.
