Can someone link/post their evasion set for Lv 90 THF? I tried searching the item sets on ffxiah but they are all either outdated 75 cap sets or purely retarded.

Kila+2 x2, Ungurs Boomerang
Fugacity Beret/Torero torque/Novia/Musical
Alcide's Harness+1/Slither Gloves/Heed/w/e
Fugacity Mantle/Scouter's Rope/Ocelot pants/AF3+1
Svelte>Scouter's, no?
Couple Qs.
1. BLU merit recommendations?
2. Anyone else getting randomly dropped by FFXI? Rest of my net is entirely fine, but I get an R0 every other day that just cuts me right off. Is perfectly fine when I log back in afterwards.
Probably, minimal and negligible I should think.
This is from a few pages back, but I'm wholly convinced the NM's that drop +2's that didnt use to drop them have an easy +2 and a hard +2, Grellow will increase both of their chances to drop, TH+ makes it even better. I've been doing a lot of Bri's and the Voyage Stone is the common drop, gotten half as many Jewels, th7 and grellow on all kills.
Same, although that somewhat goes against my theory, lol. My theory is that there's a circle of NMs (briarieus/Ovni/Carabosse) which each have different common and uncommon. Ovni has uncommon card drop, common stone drop. While Carabosse has common card drop, and uncommon coin drop. Karkinos would then have common coin, uncommon jewel. Which would then make briareus common jewel uncommon stone. Hrmmm.
Ruminator also drops stones and cards, so if it works that way one of them has redundant mains.
AGI+6 or Crit Hit Damage+4% on Byakko's Haidate (I can never seem to get a combo of both) better for Blade: Hi outside abyssea?
Random question for THF, and I think I've read it in the past. But you only have to hit the mob once in full TH gear and then you can swap it out the dagger/TH gear and still build on the max right?
Speaking of THF, let's say you whack a mob and land native TH3, then it goes up to 4, then you remember your +3 gear. Does it only bump it up to 6 or would it be 7 thanks to that earlier proc?
It would be +6. I get that a lot when I don't put my mules TH gear on right as I engage and get a proc off the first attack round. You will see the message for TH4, equip your gear, then next message will be TH7.
I'd suggest focusing on quick/cheap/easy upgrades first to get yourself to a respectable base, and then to start picking away at the more challenging stuff. Aim to put together something like the following:
TP:
Charmer's Merlin / Glyph
W. turban
Perle body
Dusk gloves
AF3+ legs
Perle feet
C.chain
Swift belt
Forager's mantle
Centaurus / assault earrings
Keen / Ecphoria rings.
This set is 23% haste with a moderate amount of acc/atk. (I put it in a set on FFXIAH, id=219419 but I can't post URLs yet. also note: axes are wrong way round for some reason, cant fix it).
Eat pizza and use stalwart's tonic whenever available.
For rampage, you want to focus on Acc then STR. An easy slot to improve for WS is belt - Virtuoso belt is easy to camp, or buy a potent Belt.
If you have an O-hat wear it, if not hang around any of the NMs that drop the new hachimakis (ideally Carabosse for Ryoshi Hachimaki), and see if you can get a group to give you one, they are 100% drop.
Do the same thing to get a Atheling Mantle, as mentioned earlier, and a Charmer's Merlin.
Brutal earringThings I think I should get:
Moogle Kupo Etat Hat with pet -10% pdt (what should my second augment be? Pet haste?)
Shepard's Chain
Pet -PDT axes (X2)
Suppoanimi (pls forgive my spelling)
Raja's ring (working on CoP)
Monster's Gloves (working on Dyna zone wins)
AF3+1 legs, head, body in that order.
And yes, pet haste as 2nd aug on anwig salade.
But primarily you want to be working on atma as a priority once you have your basic gear set, that will make much more of a difference. A good basic set that's fairly easy to get would be:
-Baying moon (Lugharoo, really easy at lvl 90).
-Razed ruins (ironclad pulverizer, if you put a shout out for this, lots of people tend to need it).
-Stout Arm (drops from Briareus, which people spam for +2 items, just try asking nicely)
Could also try for Plaguebringer (Resheph, Uleg zone boss) or Ascending one (Bennu, Altep zone boss) instead of Baying Moon if you can find people doing them.
Also, don't /WHM. /DNC is almost always better in group situations (and most solo tbh), and it helps your melee output as well as giving some healing power. Sell your MP gear to fund melee upgrades, with all the sources of refresh these days you don't need it any more.
My Titan was taking 500 from 4000 Needles, and he was the only thing in range. That was with Ducal Guard. I can't remember if he managed to eat all three of them, but he was dead immediately after if he did survive the spam. A few pet jobs could probably manage it, but it's annoying and slow that way.
The Tiger is Ule is a joke. If you don't suck at turning it won't ever do the aura (although it will still Disorienting Waul you occasionally). It's definitely the easiest of the two between the cactuar or the tiger. I never did the goblin but I've read Frag bomb sucks.
Assuming we're talking about the same white tiger in uleg I dual boxed the mage seals I needed off him thf/nin + blm/whm, was pretty easy. As someone said, once he ws's just turn around, if you continue to hit him during WS"s it can get ugly.
In order to maybe add one more point to your circle, I got a Card (only) off a Grellow'd Ruminator just now. It would make perfect sense for them to put two Card-major droppers in each zone.
