Anyone WoE'd recently on Odin? I'd really like to pick up a variety of coins for my mule to make a few WoE weapons but will only have myself on a healing job and mule on nin so I can't beat any zones "solo." I was wondering if the people in zone team up for wins or what?

The Tiger is Ule is a joke. If you don't suck at turning it won't ever do the aura (although it will still Disorienting Waul you occasionally). It's definitely the easiest of the two between the cactuar or the tiger. I never did the goblin but I've read Frag bomb sucks.

Way to miss the point. The OP wants 3/4 of Emperador's seals, someone else suggested doing Garuda for only 2 of the desired seals. Seems dumb to do 2 different NMs when he can just do 1.

Not that ill be much help but I did WoE for the first time today and just went solo NIN/DNC. I was able to handle 3 crabs at once, not on purpose ofcourse.

Got glory and decay off the 3 crabs before the boss came and cleaned my clock, I failed to move from the last corpse.

With a healer you should be able to clear quite a bit easy.

If they removed 3person minimum, one of BLU, DNC, or BLM could likely clear most of them with some luck. DNC for runspeed on the no-fighting ones, or melee-DPS and chigoe speed-kills. BLU magic DPS+Melee DPS, BLM for Magic/Spike DPS.

FL are likely all out of reach for solo, as is the Lebros supplies.

Just got RDM 90... looking for advice on Group 1 & 2 merits since this is like my first mage-y job >.>

Was thinking 5/5 Ice Accuracy and Convert in Group 1, though (so far) I haven't been riding my Convert timer so maybe do Earth Accuracy instead? Then in Group 2, I was gonna go 5/5 Slow and Paralyze... but I was wondering if Phalanx is worth it at all?

If you plan on doing anything outside abyssea you're going to want and LOVE convert merits. 5/5 that always. 5/5 ice acc is good for blizz/bind/para..but you don't really get resisted on those ever, and if you get resists they're usually immune or a cerb type mob/extremely resistant without ESing para.

I went 5/5 para2, 3/5 slow2 and 2/5 dia3(1/5 dia3 is horrible, its duration is too short for my liking). 5/5 para because it increases potency more than adding any additional merits to slow2 would really, and slow2 is easy to cap at 3/5. Phalanx2 is worse than phalanx, and you should always be /sch so you have accession phalanx when it's needed. Bio3 is only really viable for soloing(and by soloing I mean like, rdm/blu and wanting the additional -5% attk down from bio3).

I sac'd 4 slow merits and 1 para merit for Phalanx 2 under the justification I won't always be /Sch, I won't always want to burn a strategem on Phalanx, and I won't care about the difference in slow merits.

Having 1 merit in phalanx2 is equal to not having any at all tbh.

I would never get phalanx2, not worth the merits at all imo for how situational it is and how /sch is always the best sub and the fact that phalanx2 is worse..
