Anyone can explain me inflation on currency? They are easier to get, at higher rate and with lower ppl needed on top of that relics aren't even the best now and empyrean are much easier to make. All that and prices seems to go up.

People now view relics as an achievable goal. Some people are lowman farming with friends for free or buying it off them for cheap and are converting their Cruor into gil / using gil they've accumulated to buy more at an inflated price. Basically, my view from here hasn't changed.

Quantity is less then demand on Cerberus which is why currency keeps going up. I have a friend sitting on over 200mil trying to finish his relic and can't find the currency.

Lol. On Bahamut every second bazaar is full of currency and still they are going up.

It's still going up because things are selling at those prices. If you're running a resale bazaar (which are most of the large bazaars with high prices), you keep increasing prices until your sale rate equals the rate you can buy cheaper currency at. It's a balancing act, but some of the guys that do it are really good at it.

Also: Is there something you can do that doesn't involve buying a copy of windows and installing it on a mac to play it?

Afaik you need windows installed. When I play I usually run it via boot camp, because if I am 2-3 boxing with VMware or any other virtual desktop I lag so unbelievable bad I cant even play. But if I'm just crafting or doing something in town/abyssea quest I run VMware from the mac side(unless already boot camped) and it works good enough.

If you can play without windower you can try with WINE http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX (you can also multibox vanilla ffxi), otherwise BootCamp or Parallels, but see above.

And I'm guessing Loki's is better than AF3+2? I can't see the STR outweighing the 5%.

Loki's inside and AF3+2 outside iirc. I've never really seen anyone besides gimps use cavaros so idk. It's only a 3% increase to crit damage so I would think 3% DA would beat it.

I bought and sold currency for years. It was easy back in the rolanmart days since you could buy most people out and control the market. Now the bazaars are full of small stashes and the currency is much more spread out, still doable more harder to take a dominant control which yields fast profit.

Same, and the problem you're describing coupled with the lack of motivation to get gil is why I no longer do it.

Twice the WSC, A crit stat that's comparable to Loki's (better, I think, but I'm not positive), and a shitload of attack.

The attack, STR and DEX and 5% Crit rate is why.

Loki's Kaftan is one of those items people tend to overuse. It has no place for ninja aside from Blade: Hi and that's only when you're inside of Abyssea. 17 (22) Attack 17 (22) Accuracy 12 STR 12 DEX 5% critical hit rate far exceed (5.5) Accuracy 11 DEX 5% critical damage bonus.

It's hard, and it's luck based. You'd have to be pretty lucky to win with that setup, though I wouldn't say it's entirely impossible if you Fanatic's out and zerged at 25%.

Killing with 3 would be quite impressive. Its a sweet BC just got ruined with 200k brews. He goes into a spam mode that makes it hard to deal damage without healing him. I recommend a full pty with multiple healers/support.
