Best job leveling path for a thf? Was thinking Mnk to 18 > thf to 30 for adv jobs > get dnc up as a sub or nin > then back to thf.

I'd think almost skip MNK entirely, THF > 30, NIN or DNC to SJ level > THF to cap.

Lowbie will go so much more quickly than you remember, minimum double XP solo and you can definitely solo to 30, especially with the new beret.

Some are saying to do SJ some aren't. Kinda torn. About to log in for the first time in years right now so trying to pick route first. If it is that fast than I will just skip... I just dont want it to be a hindrance in getting to 30 for adv job.

Taking monk to 18 and then thf/mnk to 30 will be faster than taking subless thf to 30.

Only the person that pops. People with only a I can still get loot as long as they have a stone, but can't get upgraded.

Ok last post before making decision. Like I wrote in other topic I am straggling between what to do Spharai or Apocalypse. Choice would be much easier if I wouldn't be a career MNK and even that I hardly can find any use for Spharai now I am still a little worry about a changes they want to make for 95-99. They can for example let it break 80% cap on counter and set it at 87.5%-90% or make a super trial for super weapon by joining together empyrean,relic and mythic.

For now only advantage I see for Spharai over Veret is being able to cap counter with PDT, evasion or accuracy gear because otherwise you can use this to achieve the same counter like Spharai with Veret. Because of Vsmite the lose on TP damage should be make up with WS making Veret with this set and spharai with normal TP pretty much equal aka not worth to make Spharai. Anyone see some other thing I am missing in favor of doing Spharai before Apocalypse?

Apocalypse on the other hand sounds really cool in theory especially for lowman outside when attack/accuracy is again relevant, stun is a life saver and MP can be an issue with limited refresh and 2 DDs. I am really wonder about one thing. Did any Apoc user tried to use a mnk on sub? Dread spikes being up for 60 out of 90 sec making non countered hits harmless and doing damage at the same time + very high damage from counters and self curing with WS should be a pretty good combo worth dropping a xhit by one or maybe I am wrong here? I fucking hate recast and casting time with hasso/seigan up too and I think /mnk could be a really good alternative when tanking mobs w/o strong TP moves and not immune/resistance to drain/Cata. If I am not mistaken Dread spikes with af3+2 body is equal to 62% of your max HP during casting so can macro in HP + equip. I have around 2270 HP in my still far from completed HP gear so thats around 1413 HP shield, pretty solid with ~45% counter rate. I am really curious about it.

Anyway for now I am set to make an Apocalypse and start Spharai then around January but I am still open for advice if anyone see something I am missing. Thx in advance

EDIT: Actually with /mnk I have 2354HP with 16% haste so I would be capped with Apoc aftermath. It is with missing a neck and ammo so it could go up to 2444 and much higher with marches.

I don't know if he's serious or not (since I usually don't take him as such) but a guy in our shell runs DRK/MNK w/apoc, full times PDT and 2-boxes a lot of shit. This may seem less impressive but his WHM doesn't have auto-regen, so it makes it a bit more impressive.

Personally I'd just do Mythic lance and quit fucking around.
