I am going through a lot of stuff I grabbed, but this guy fucking blew my mind. I think I might be a bit late to the party here.

John Fahey - fucking incredible fingerstyle guitarist. Helped essentially found American Primitivism. Now officially my favourite guitarist.

Fare Forward Voyagers (Soldier's Choice) - Really interesting album. Only 3 tracks, 4th track is 24 minutes long. Draws heavily from Indian ragas but there's definite jazz, ragtime, and Delta blues influences

Bumping this thread so Day sees it tomorrow if he remembers and also adding some new tracks.

He always plays faster live than he does on the recordings. It says Candyman but it's also got a track from The Transfiguration starting at ~1:10.

2/3 songs from Fare Forward Voyagers. Fare Forward Voyagers is the best track on the album but sadly, it's not up on Youtube because it's longer than these two combined.

Durp... did I tell you about the Steeldrivers when you were asking about Bluegrass? Man they are fucking awesome. They were better with their original singer, Chris Stapleton... but they are still good as fuck man.

Listen to this fucking voice. Audio quality is poor, they took down the "studio video" when dude quit the band.
