I would love to see new world spawn NM/HNM added.
I would like to see new world spawns, but I don't want them to take 2-5 days.
I wouldn't mind the new world spawns as long as the drops aren't necessary.

I like the idea behind world spawn nm's, but theres forever going to be some level of botting/botters. what if there were multiple nm's, kinda similar to the vnm's and shadows(but whether its a nq/hq you would have no idea), make the nq ones drop a pop item to fight the real thing, and make there actually be a real thing out there that actually drop real loot, it wouldnt be like 1 once every X days or whatever, several more more could pop in other zones every few hours, maybe shorter/longer i dunno. i hated once pops became figured out, it just became the same mundane routine, but i guess thats only expected to happen. anyways, i guess i just like the idea behind cool baddies spawning at rare occasion~ (never so much botting/camping, but we used to have like "tiamat" races once it popped with rival ls's way back, id say that was the funnest part of the whole thing, had some fun times with other ls's lol)

If world spawn is such a great idea, they wouldn't have changed the 3 existing world spawns into item spawns.
I want HNM style spawns again. If people don't, then don't do them. But they probably will anyway.
They just need to up the drop rate on item spawn Kings.
Salvage drop rate was a very demoralizing experience. However, at the same time, making a group of ppl waiting for 3hrs to potentially get a chance to fight an NM is no better. As an item spawn, at least you actually get to fight the mob for sure for some fun and excitement. Nonetheless, drop rate need to be increased to make Kings a positive experience. Turning it back into timed spawn will be a step backward.
The same can be said with adding more world spawn NM/HNM. Putting in huge time sink yet still not able to fight anything doesn't seem like a good idea.
Ya now you actually have to be good at the game to stand out. Dumbasses and bad players have always existed and HNMs actually made it so gear only showed what you spent your time doing. Having an adaberk usually meant you just were either very lucky or just had a lot of free time. Not to belittle good players that did HNMs but good gear in Jeuno didn't mean anything.
I don't want. As nice of a concept they are, botting ruins it, and time has told us again and again that SE really doesn't give a fuck about people using 3rd-party these days.

At this point.. Who would really care if they added new NMs that popped once a day to once every two or three days?
They won't have the best drops. They haven't done that since Tiamat. Ever since Tiamat, when they added new rare mobs, they either made the drops incredibly high and the market wasflowed(sw/di),they gave them subpar drops(cerb,khim) or both (sw/di). This didn't stop people from camping them, but it was more a status thing. People like trophy items, but the exclusitivity was more in the fight/camp/kill, not in the drops.
Sure you had PLDs who wanted hauteclaires but couldnt camp or didn't want to camp khim but those PLDs had joy-toy, which was better. HNM shells still camped khimaira and cerberus tho for mantle mats, even though they were small upgrades and sidegrades for gear that was more available. Not saying the drops weren't very good, they were. I just don't think they were anything but trophies or status symbols. Putting more mobs in game like serket,cassie or toau,wotg NM or H-NM is fine imo, as long as it's not a repeat of kings or tiamat.
Rare or semi rare drops that are arguably the best and most useful pieces in games, that come from mobs that spawn rarely and are free to the first claimer. Rare mobs should be a trophy or status symbol, not a nessicary to have the best.
Lets for example think. In this day and age if they added NMs that spawned like SW/DI/Khim/Cerb and had drops that were compareable to what was all available at 75, no one would but campers would really care. If Im naive in this sense, fine. But I think the real issue is giving a rare and free mob, the absolute best drops. In which that wasn't the case anymore after tiamat.
I find the results so far pretty interesting. I think if I were to do this poll while the cap was 75, there would have been many more people who voted for no more world spawns. I can't camp like I use to, but I remember getting burned out from it all, and I think that is what happened with a lot of people.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed abyssea and still welcome it. I think it was a much needed addition, but it went to far in my opinion. Everything in abyssea is easy, and this latest patch made things even easier though. Af3 is the best gear out and everyone has it so that it feels like you haven't even accomplished something. Empyrean weapons aren't hard either. You can shout and do all the weapons with groups of 6 or under. I did my Ochain without a linkshell and bought maybe 5 souls, and it is still ridiculously easy to get. I bet there are a lot of people that miss having the elite social structure in game, even if they didn't have the elite gear.
Who here would disagree that some of the most fun times on game have been killing/camping some rare NM/HNM with some friends, whether it was lotto or long spawn time? Granted everyone has gotten older and grown up so that most of us don't have the time we use to, but is FFXI really FFXI without some relevant world spawn NM/HNMs? Also, what do you guys consider a reasonable spawn time for a lower NM that might drop lesser gear or gil, and what would be a reasonable time for a high level NM that drops good gear?
I plan on submitting some of the suggestions to SE, so I'd like to get an idea on how people would like the NMs to work. I'd love to here people's ideas on it.

I don't understand why people say bots ruined HNM. HNM by virtue of being lottery NMs on RL day timers ruined themselves.
time spawn is dumb, lets not even talk as far as hnm world spawn. Gukumatz, heqet, tunga is dumb enough, why even bring possible world spawn hnm into play
if you wanna do it for the "omg my LS can pull with/without bot!!!" sensation, go play gukumatz since it spawn every 10 mins, can fully satisfy your ego
if you wanna do it for distinctive gears, then mark my word, everyone will go camp it, even if its frustrating. And if your LS dont bot, you will eventually find that you will be posting here saying how dumb it is in no time.
