I thought this was the "Gimp/Confused/WTF" thread, not the "this guy doesn't have 100% perfect gear" thread. Other than the ambiguous ammo/neck/ear, which are probably Tantra, I don't see what this guy is doing wrong. Unless his crime is that he hasn't finished upgrading his hands? I don't know where the break points are to know if +1 vs +2 will matter without Faith Torque/merits/whatever.

This, too, is a violation of my standards. I have been known sometimes to start meleeing in my idle set, but anyone who seriously full-times that shit without it being a mistake deserves to be burned.

2nd PLDs rings and back probably. SAM is using Masamune80, which doesn't have the WS, and I'm sure there are better GKs out there.

Lol so geting my whm mule to 90 before i unlock sj for the hell of it and i get this while trying my luck for a abyssea party (lol always some sucker desperate for a whm) Gimped/confused part comes into play where the dumb ass didnt realize a 70 with no sj wasn't doing it on purpose.

All full timed. I asked him why he full times it, and his reply was he gets 300% tp every 10 seconds so he doesn't have time to switch to tp or ws gear. Don't think he ever broke 1k with a ws the entire party ><.

Curious as to what is wrong with an Honorbound if you have no Almace? Not trying to whiteknight, it's a serious question as I recently finished Ochain so haven't finished Almace yet. I do feel gimp using Honorbound + Ochain but I really don't know what else I could use until I finish Almace.

I remember that osode-meleeing mnk from Zeruhn Mines....someone explain how the fuck you die to mobs in that zone @ 90??

B) Magnus Stone
C) Verthandi's Gem

fwiw, Moneten once did the math and Honorbound (with enlight on) was the best sword a PLD could use pre-Almace (not counting other options like Excalibur, Mythic, whatever).
