Gimp/Confused/WTF Player Thread XXII: someone who doesnt play my MMO as much as me

Varies from server to server or depends on your timing. I came back to the game on May 24 and was done with bosses in 2 or 3 weeks and that was just either joining a shout or checking the ??? where the zone boss is popped, seeing a group fighting and asking (Title) (Can I have it?). Very minimal effort on my part. Only got turned down once by a JP group fighting Rani. Said (Our party's full) but I don't think it was. Didn't matter though, my LS came through and did a few the follwing weekend.

Seals happen pretty much the same way. If a person got lucky with drops early and are just there finishing off the pops for other people's drops then ppl are very gracious, on Odin at least. Majority of my experience, they don't mind teaming up or iniviting someone to lot rotting seals. You get the occasional hardcore JP that doesn't want to team up for Magian trails but for every 1 like him, there's 5 more that want to get that shit done no matter what nationality you are.

Yeah, my group of friends don't really care about letting people have seals, it's just the server, in my opinion. Same thing goes for atmas, had to ask quite a few carabosse groups to just let me in for red proc.. I even provided a war with all the procs (my main), lol. Same goes for leaching briareus clear on my mule. Now I'm having this trouble with shinryu. People only going in with 5, ask if I can tag along for atma and clear {Item} {No, Thanks.}, and they are just stubborn.

Any other zone weapon and I'd agree, but for Tahrongi Emps the 80 trial is the "big deal" trial. Everything after that is cake anyway.

Then again, I get like 8 {Congratulations!} in my shell every time I get a magian trial done, or a new piece of AF1, or made buffalo wings, or anything really, so I may be used to over-congratulating (imo it's better to err on the side of over than under).

Was cruor farming and some shout groups were popping up randomly to do the Razed Ruin Ironclad while we were there. This one was one of the worst I saw. Inb4 "oh they were just leeching an atma", no, they engaged the mob with the other PLD.

If you're wondering why I didn't say grats, here are a few reasons. These are all from the same LS.

Tl;dr: Gear swaps are bad, haste isn't very important, psychic powers are real, Thunder Belt only affects Raiden Thrust, Elemental Seal increases the chance for cursna to remove doom, etc. (Some of these are more random fail than gimp/confused/wtf, but oh well.)

I got a pearl in the first abyssea party I ever had after returning from a 6 month break. At first, I stayed because the LS is rather large/active and I was able to get most of my zone clears, caturae kills, etc. with them. Now I just stay to see what stupid shit they'll say next.

I once made the mistake of doing Shinryu with a party in which 4 of the other 5 members were from this LS. 3 fights, 5 brews, one blue proc.
