Gimp/Confused/WTF Player Thread XXII: someone who doesnt play my MMO as much as me

Alright, so the other day I was derping around in PJ, saw a shout for COR body seals without the NM listed. Figured that hey, I can get my last COR body seal. I've been at 9/10 for a while and been too lazy to finish it since I rarely get to play the job. So I join in, find out it's Amarok, so yeah, not so bad. Get told to come NIN, I shrug and do so; not like Amarok is hard. Of course, I do have the slightest little trepidation 'cause my friend's internet has been lagging bad today... nah, it's okay. Even if it lags out, not like my party's all that bad, right? Surely they can deal with it if something goes wrong. Seasoned FFXI vets and such.

When we get there, I in my confidence decide to check them anyway, a reassurance that everything's gonna be great. This is my reward:

Shinryu is hard, amirite? And aside from that, the people who go mage gear/melee gear hybrid annoy me... especially when they refuse to gearswap. Austerity Belt, MP rings, 4/5 Aurore and then Demonslayer... ugh.

(At least there was a happy ending, only two pops and I got my seal. :3 Didn't have to deal with them for long)

Yeah, that's exactly what we did. We'd just arrived and I noticed the MNK so we decided to stick around and see if we could get free skins, and we did! Left Novion over there the rest of the evening once a couple people came along and we had procs covered but didn't get any more free pops
