Is it? So if I were to upgrade an Empyrean weapon when I know I have a decent amount of consecutive time available for playing, and prefer to make quicker more negligible upgrades when I'm more busy with school, work, etc., I suck?

Seems logical! [Side note: still not defending the gear choices. I don't play a job I don't have geared well. Doesn't mean I won't upgrade an Emp. for it for fun.]

Having +2 AF3 and good gear doesnt move you up the FFXIAH charts quite like those Emps. Just sayin'

Can someone explain why there would be people level sync'd in Abyssea? Cause this is the WTF part. I've never, ever, seen anyone getting Sync'd in Abyssea til now >.>

You can sync on the highest member with no issues. It will remove /anon status (or at least it used to). Catch out people leeching you don't want to leech, like the guy "dumping merits" who comes back as some retarded shit and won't key or anything.
