Some more to the story: In 2008 there was a dancing flashmob there where people came and danced to music on their ipods. Cops broke it up and arrested one person. The person fought it in court, and the court sided with the cops, saying that they have a duty to "preserve the decorum at national monuments". Recently another court upheld that decision in appeal, and thus the people in the video were dancing to protest it.

I can't find the article I read now, but I recall it said that these people were warned ahead of time that they'd be arrested of they did this. Of course, they obviously knew that, but they claim they "thought it was a joke".

The question is moot. It's a nigga at the monument, the decorum is already threatened by his presence regardless of dancing. Arrest is the only option.
