BG Auto: Busted Radiator/Hose

Replacing the radiator on a Honda is super easy, if you look into it might be worth trying. Was able to get a brand new one for my honda from autozone for about 100 bucks(even cheaper ones online) and took about an hour tops to do.

Also might be worth even trying one of those stopleak things, they're like 6 bucks, you pour em in your radiator and its supposed to seal the hole if it's in the radiator itself, may or may not work but it's pretty cheap, so if it doesn't you don't lose out on much

Don't use stop leak, you'll never get that shit completely out of your engine.

^^ This, that stuff is horrible and should never be used, especially on a car with aluminum engine components (like that Honda).

Assuming the leak is coming from that side of the car, it's not the water pump, that's on the other side of the engine.

Good luck with it, let us know what the mechanic says. Most normal repairs to that type of Honda are dirt cheap.

Yeah, I was advised against using anything that is high mileage/stops leaks because it gunks everything else up. I was called today that the total was going to be $56 and change which I'm happy about. Turns out it was a hose and a clamp or something.

lower rad hose. Sounds about right.
