So rumors are that "Red" in the new Superboy series is Caitlyn Fairchild of Gen 13.... Hmmm. This just got interesting...

I wouldn't be surprised. DC is making an effort to get the popular Wildstorm characters into the DC universe. Superboy was pretty bleh though.
Suicide Squad and Deathsroke were awesome. Batwoman and Green Lantern were ok. Red Lanterns was kinda bleh. Didnt have time to read the rest at the shop sadly.
It's like Red Lanterns & GL are just a direct continuation of story from pre-Flashpoint. Suicide Squad was interesting. Thin Amanda Waller! Best part hands down was King Shark. MEAT MEAT MEAT!
i enjoyed resurrection man, not familiar with the character at all. deathstroke was good toooo
Deathstroke was good, so was batman, superboy and green lantern were boring.
I realize he's like the most popular DC character but does Batman really need to take part in so many of the different comics right from the start? He's one guy with four titles of his own and like six spinoff titles not to mention being a fixture in both Justice League titles apparently as well. A bit of overkill there no?
Read Batman #1 come back and say sorry for thinking that, the potential batman has with a good writer is massive.
Read it already now reread what I said. Not once did I say he isn't good but the number of titles he's in/connected to at the start is a bit much for one guy.
Ah good point![]()
I agree that Batman was great but does he need four titles especially when one of those was Batman and Robin which I thought sucked pretty badly. How is that going to be any different from one of the other Batman titles where Robin is probably going to pop up constantly anyway? And the spinoffs can do without him showing up constantly right from the start. Give the characters a chance to get off on their own for a while like they seem to be doing with Red Hood. Nightwing I thought was a great start and it amazingly only mentioned Batman and didn't try and tie him into the story possibly(guess it depends on where the stories are going after reading both Batman and Nightwing).
what books will tim drake be in?
Overall, I haven't been impressed with any of the Bat-titles. Most of the stuff that came out today has been bleh. Red Hood & the Outlaws and Catwoman are like softcore porn, thought that was funny. Wonder Woman was the only good release this week but it's written by Azzarello so it better be good.
didn't like WW, Birds of Prey was pretty good though.
Only Bat-title Ive liked was Batwoman.
Oops, I forgot about Batwoman, the art was superb but the characters weren't fleshed out enough for me. I'll see where the story goes though.
Yea some it really does'nt cater for new readers, If you read the Detective comics with her in it would make a bit more sense. Some i've been completely lost with
Animal Man and Batwoman were fairly badass, and seeing Jim Lee draw again is always nice, but otherwise the best series so far has just been the Green Lantern titles, which have been ignoring the entire thing outside of the renumbering.
how long till they pull the plug on this shit?
did anyone read catwoman? holy shit just give it an M rating already lol
overall it seems like they are rebooting everyones story BUT batmans, he has continuity with the previous universe pretty heavily compared to the others. though I cant blame them, the bat books have been keeping DC afloat for years, this just proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt
i didnt understand roy name dropped all of the teen titans when he was talking to starfire in Red Hood and the Outlaws
