Hated the last 5 minutes of what was otherwise the most hilarious episode of Psych I've seen.

Of all the things in all the seasons that she would put things together with, THAT was the big reveal? Of all the ways Shawn could handle it, with as sort-of-smooth and quick-witted as he was, he had to flub it *THAT* horribly? As others said, felt so damned forced.

I thought it was more or less just a given that no one really takes his 'psychic' act that seriously because that would make them look ridiculous

I understand why people thought it felt forced (and I agree with three editing comments), but I don't agree that Shawn flubbed it. He may have been able to handle it better or use his wit to get out of it, but the point was that he didn't want to do that. He saw how happy everyone else was and thought that, in order to get that, he needed to be honest with Jules. When you're revealing a lie that's as large as this one, there's only so many things you can say, and they all seem like lies to the prison you're telling.

That three minutes of build up is quick for something that's been hanging out there for years.

I'm not suggesting Shawn should have lied to her, and I get why he didn't. But the way he went about it was hamfistedly awful. He didn't really answer anything, he looked like he was dodging instead of being honest. He led her to draw whatever conclusions she wanted or feared, instead of drawing them up. He didn't try to calm the situation down at all and answer things more plainly. I dunno. It just seemed like he handled it poorly, even for what he was trying to do. I am also curious why he had that in his tux coat pocket, when that's not what he was wearing when they busted into dude's room, and didn't seem to be on his mind when he was on the way to the wedding, given that he needed the sign to prompt his memory of it.

Juliet believed it but I think she is very superstitious. Carlton(lol) believes it because he spent so long trying to disprove it that it has to be true.

I don't think Chief Vick has ever believed it but if she is confronted with the information that he isn't psychic she'd have to act on it.

Just watched the episode again. He had a backpack with him when he was on the way to the wedding and saw the sign for the show and pulled the ticket out of the backpack and looked at it and then stuck it in his jacket.

They all pretty much have never truly believed but as Shawn says when he tells her... He has put a lot of people away. So they choose to not question it at this point. It was a big thing for Lassie to try and debunk him in S1 and some in S2, but after that they let the plot point simmer for years. Basically Shawn and Gus (and his father) have been lying to everyone they could for 6 years. And they have been choosing to not question it too hard.

We all knew that this was inevitable last year when they did the whole engagement thing with them. I just assumed it would probably be left until the final 2 episodes of the series.

Ending was good, but it sucks that they actually split. I honestly dont see it lasting long though. In his dream when Jules said he's one hell of a cop, I often wonder if they'll go that route oneday, have him come clean to everybody and just hire him on as a detective.

Once again, I like the way it ended, but damn a part of me wants him to come clean just to see where the show would go. At least its starting to look like they'll get back together. Was just fun to see them together because it pissed lassiter off. Speaking of which where the hell is his wife? lol
