completely agree. i thought he was great as just comedic relief and i didn't really see him doing anything beyond that (nor did i expect him to). but the show's done a fantastic job of moving walt down a very dark path and pulling everyone else down around him in the process.

holy fuck that whole episode was so god damn good, I was getting tired of there not being enough action in the show recently, but this episode alone makes up for it.

Every week and episode ends well before I am ready to stop watching. It's amazing how often the writers of this show set things up, and dismiss them, only to set up something new, and better, in it's place. Walt's speeches are just so absurd and self serving. It's amazing.

Both had me giggling. Soon as I saw the suction I figured he'd try to get his dick up there, I wasn't sure what he'd do with the pressurized air hose but the fat suit was a hilarious surprise.

Jesse is like a child. It's hysterical. And I think Gus officially took a level in badass tonight.

I hate that at every commercial i stare at the clock, hoping for it to go slower, because i don't want the episode to end.

It wound down a lot from last week, but the story development was epic as usual. There doesn't seem to be much left to resolve now though. The situation could potentially stabilize and Walt could simply cook meth with Jesse until he dies. There is no clear conflict now with Walt's connection to the Cartel cleanly severed (presumably).

I suppose Hank might pursue his lead again after his recovery (or the other DEA agents will pick up where he left off), but I doubt they'll get anywhere near as close as Hank got since the RV is a paperweight now.

I suspect that Gus is going to become the main antagonist now. I predict that there will be some sort of backlash from the Gail situation and that Walt will be put in a tight spot. I think Gus will be forced to step in to "resolve" the issue and Walt will become privy to Gus's version of politics and realize just how deep he is into the dark side. I think Walt will be presented, very soon, with an opportunity to redeem himself.

As long as Walt is an asset to Gus then Walt will be safe, but Gus made two big power plays this week. Walt and Jesse are now a part of this cartel power play, and Walt knows that he can't bullshit Gus. He also knows that he owes Gus. Walt is an asset, but Jesse is just there to keep Walt happy. I think Jesse is the one in some serious trouble.

I think this episode was just the eye of the hurricane.

There's the phone call Hank received right before the attack to be resolved. Also i can't see Gus just letting Walt walk away after his 3 months are up, so i'm sure there will be more to that relationship.

Last two episodes were amazing for different reasons, the last one had me on the edge for the last 10 minutes. This one had some development and laughs. Amazing how awkward Walt can be sometimes, but when you think he's digging his grave he brings it back.

Looks like Gus will be the main guy this season, I wonder how Walt deals with him since he's not the usual crazy middle management guy.
