Other way around. Marie was skeptical with Hank's "seen it a thousand times before" explanation involving infidelity. Marie stated that she thinks if Walt were simply cheating on Skyler, then Skyler would've told her by now (then).

But yeah, Hank doesn't suspect Walt just yet; he's too busy looking for someone he feels fits the mold that supposedly all meth suppliers and dealers do. He will get to Walt soon enough though.

I dunno, I found this episode to be pretty boring, just didn't hold my interest, but maybe that's because the last 2-3 were so good. Felt like nothing really happened but stuff was happening.

It was an interesting episode but I was a little lost on the point. Walt is depressed because he thought he would be dead by now. He's accepted that what hes doing is tarnishing his name. He realized that Jesse is stealing.
Otherwise there was a whole lot of weird pointless jibber-jabber.

i think the point of the episode was that walt finally realized that he had gone too far. it's why he was brooding over when the best time for him to have died was.

up until this point his guilt, feelings, and justifications have been very ambiguous. did he make some of his decisions because of his guilt? or did he do it to save himself? you never really know. i mean he can't outright say anything about jane to jesse either, but the whole point of this episode was to slowly leak his remorse without being direct.

i thought this ep was pretty damn brilliant. walt still comes off as the anti-hero and it's still hard to get a clear line on what he truly feels or thinks. but you're almost forced to feel sympathetic for him and to connect to him.

I was so expecting Walt to give in and tell Jesse what really happened the night of Jane's death. That's what really held me the entire episode.

Like said above, for an episode about a fly, was pretty good. It reminded me of crazy-Hal from Malcolm in the Middle. I also kept thinking he'd say how Jane died. I resisted the urge to check how long there was left of the episode lol.

So, without reading anything at all in this thread, I'm going to ask if anyone knows a good place to either download or watch season 3 streaming.
I ended up marathoning seasons 1 and 2 last week, but have difficulty tracking down decent season 3 episodes.

If you could just PM me the answer, that'd be great as I really don't want to risk accidentally spoiling anything trying to find a response to this post.
It's bad enough when I have to quickly change the channel when commercial for it comes on TV.

Oh I was so not ready for that episode to end. I am really not ready for this season to be over. Do they ever let a detail pass on this show? It seems like every little thing comes full circle no matter how minuscule it seemed at the time.

Fucked up how dude getting shot was a coincidence. I doubt Jesse is going to kill the kid though. More likely he'll do something to the guys in the car and try to get the chick her little brother back. He's knows who's really responsible for his friend getting killed.

I don't think the "mistake" that Gus is talking about has anything to do with Jesse. I think he's talking about Hank. Skylar found out about Walt because she eventually talked to Gretchen and learned that the money for Walt's treatment wasn't coming from them, and here is Walt paying for Hank's Physical Therapy with another second-rate story about where the money came from.

"You are a wealthy man now... and one must learn to be rich. Being poor, anyone can manage."

I think he's telling Walt not to spend money he shouldn't have.

The stuff the guys in the car were selling is probably the same stuff Jesse and Walt are making - where they're going with that is going to be fun.

I absolutely loved how uncomfortable the whole scene was that Walt had with Gus at his house.

The scene with Saul and Skyler was great. I love those scenes where Walt just finishes explaining how professional he is and the people he works with are, and then people outside of that circle meet one of them. Walt's face is just priceless in those moments.

If those guys were really Gus's pawns that would make his whole plan so much more Machiavellian (since it was Combo's murder that pushed them into finding Gus..) but part of me is hesitant to think he would work with run of the mill gangbangers and in his own backyard when everything else is so fucking tightly run.

As for Gus's convo with Walt, I don't think he would be telling him how to spend his money. Both are family men and do this for similar reasons, I think the mistake was trusting Jesse twice since I'd say he knows about the missing meth.

Recently just watched all 3 seasons of this.
I gotta say.. I'm not liking season 3 all that much. At least not compared to the 1st 2 seasons. Especially didn't find the last 2 episodes to interesting, except for the last 5minutes.

The director's also apparently gotten a bit cinematography-happy with all the odd/weird camera angles, not that that's a terrible thing, just that some of them felt out of place.
And has Skyler ever been liked by anyone, ever? They seemed to have tried to make her the most unlikable person ever, which makes it hard for me to care about scenes involving her, especially when the scene revolves around her.
