The money burning reminds me of the last episode of season 2 of The Shield. I absolutely loved that show, minus season 3. Both shows are very similar, which is why i love BB so much.

If you do, you have to watch it from the beginning. The first 2 seasons are fantastic. It's basically whatever can go wrong while you're trying to play both sides, does go wrong. Dutch by far is my favorite character on the show. He's kind of a nerdy detective that gets picked on a lot by the strike team, but he's awesome.

There aren't any real "pretty boys" aside from Lem on the show, which is another reason i loved it. Seasons 3 & 4 are kinda slow, but 5-7 were nuts when Forest Whitaker joined the cast.

Considering how Jack Bauer's turned out they're really not that different, except the joy of watching The Shield is that Vic knows how to manipulate people to get his way, whereas Jack always has some leash on him that causes frustratingly uneven action. Vic's oily cunning is a sight to behold.
