It seems to me that since Hank is getting a bit more nerdy since his accident, he's going to try to take a crack at Gail's lab notes by himself. Eventually, I think he'll realize just how far out of his league those notes are, and he's going to go to Walt. Instead of playing it cool and taking the opportunity to take all the pressure off himself by putting it on Gail, Walt might panic and draw Gus or Mike's attention to Hank. From there, maybe Gus wants to show some power and tries to make Walt "take care" of Hank.

Or better yet, Walt lets it slip to Jesse that Hank has this clue and Jesse tries to take matters into his own hands by playing the assassin again (all the more likely given his history with Hank). I think I like that last one best. The only way for Jesse to escape from his downward spiral is to accept that he's a killer, and/or to become Gus's man to the bone. Perhaps Walt's words to Mike planted some seeds of betrayal, and when Mike tries to take out Gus, Gus doesn't hesitate to kill him (Or Jesse kills him to defend Gus). Jesse then takes over Mike's role. Now we have a more solid base for Walt vs Jesse.

Yeah that scene with him going back to his house full of junkies was frightening. I hate to see him trashing himself like this. I think if he ever got focused on being a criminal he could be a force to be reckoned with, and I would much rather see that jesse than strung out doing nothing jesse.

If Jesse continues the way he's going, it will end in his death. I wonder if that would happen in the season finale?

There's a feeling of deja vu present, as the The LA Times reports that negotiations between Sony and AMC about the future of Breaking Bad are not going well.

The Times reports that Sony, who produce the show, have in fact sent feelers to at least three other cable networks to discuss the potential for picking Breaking Bad up, should a deal for Season 5 fall apart completely with AMC.

Reportedly, Season 5 is going to likely be the final one for Breaking Bad, and the Times says discussions "grew heated" when AMC tried to convince creator Vince Gilligan and the show's producers that they do a final season that ran just six to eight episodes, instead of the typical thirteen. The producers rejected this, which lead to the possibility of Breaking Bad moving opening up.

The Times says AMC is looking to cut costs on Breaking Bad, on the heels of working to do so on just about all their series. The Walking Dead is having its budget cut by $250,000 an episode, which some say is a contributing factor to Frank Darabont's abrupt departure as showrunner last week – though the Times say that sources close to AMC deny this.

Earlier this year, there were prolonged negotiations for Mad Men, that eventually resulted in a two-year deal and creator Matt Weiner staying on with the series – though the Times says Weiner's increased salary may have led to them looking to trim elsewhere and Breaking Bad, like all series a few years in, is at the point where producer and actor salaries only get higher.

The scenario with AMC asking for a shortened final season for Breaking Bad is very similar to what apparently happened with Deadwood and the impasse that led to the show ending without being properly wrapped up. In this case, there seems to be more potential for another cable channel to save Breaking Bad, though the Times say one artistic issue would be whoever picked up the series would likely only agree to do so if they got more than one season – meaning the show would then have to stretch its story longer than originally intended.

We'll keep you updated on this situation as it develops… Because we all agree, Walt and Jesse need proper closure, right?

the way i see it after that ending - things with jesse can only end in a couple of ways...

1.) jesse dies
2.) mike dies
3.) walt convinces gus to call off the hit

of the three i think it's most likely that mike dies.

of course it could not be a hit at all - could be rehab, again, but i don't really think they care that much about jesse to give him that option. I am just hoping this is not jesses demise we're about to witness, I can't see them getting rid of him this early, at least I hope not. Maybe he's just going to meet gus, and will be given an ultimatum? I just can't come up with a rational course of events that is going to happen aside from the above.

Well the only problem with the rehab theory, is that in the preview for next week, Mike said something like, "You don't care if I just leave you in a ditch" or something like that.

So, I really think the only plan they have for him is killing him. And to tell you the truth, sadly, at this point I wish they would just get rid of him. I'm hating with what they have done to him, he is getting on my last nerve at this point. I just want him to get out of his cry baby stage already, or they just whack the guy. I mean I understand why he is acting like he is, but come on now, enough is enough. I do have this feeling though, that they are going to kill him off. I mean, how many times can Walt stop this guy from being killed.

So far, this has been my least favorite season. Everything just seems to drag on, many of the scenes just seem a lot longer than they need to be. A few weeks ago they had an almost 45-60sec scene of Walt just walking across the street. Most of the episodes have just been boring and dull.

its actually a common practice to credit actors for full seasons even if they aren't gonna be in it all the way through

Lol wow, Butt hurt much? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought this was a place for discussion about the show? Just my personal opinion on the show with Jesse right now, no need to get all upset.....
