    I'm so glad this season picked up the pace.. lots of questions going into the last three episodes tho.

    Gus will probably survive, but Mike looks like he's done, which means Jesse becomes Gus' new capo. But with Jesse & Walt on the skids, will Jesse help to put Gus out of commission?

    Gus's speech after the action gave me shivers... I swear he's turning into my fav char of this show quickly.
    I hope Skyler brings down the hammer on that stupid mother fucker though. Seriously, a Mercedes Benz while having a 650k IRS debt?...
    Also, Mike can't die , I'll be very sadface if so...

    What I'm curious about is how the poison got in there. Did Gus+Mike figure out the poison plan, did Jesse basically flip sides and tell them the plan? Either way they know Walt is a huge liability now and I'm wondering how that will play out.

    I'm sure Gus configured his own plan for poisoning, Jesse didn't know a damn thing about it, why he was denied his shot of the Tequila. I'm not sure how Walt is going to play out in this but Gus is going to have to run two different fronts of Meth distribution, which he may still have Jesse run the southern front and Walt run the northern lab. I really can't tell with this coup Gus pulled though, I have no idea how he's going to deal with the backlash of killing the Don of the mexican cartel....

    I think them using poison is a pretty big coincidence if they didn't know. When I saw the gift on the table the first thing I thought was 'that's poisoned food/drink in there'. It wasn't the same poison though, but I think them having used poison is a pretty big clue to them knowing about it.

    Gus has been planning that shit for 20 years. It has nothing to do with Jesse and Walt's plan. It's a completely different poison anyway. Walt's poison causes a heart attack sometime within the next 48 hours. Besides that, it's not likely that Gus or Mike know anything about Walt's predilection for poison. Tuco died in a gun fight, and that's the only precedent for the plan.

    Also, I don't think they had Jesse's place bugged because the night Jesse was at Gus's place, Gus started eating first even after Jesse had ample opportunity to use the poison.

    I think it really was just coincidence.

    Jesse could easily end this whole thing right now and walk away completely clean, and honestly, he should. Walt was completely right when he was listing off the things Gus did to them that made him deserve to die. I sincerely doubt it will happen though. Jesse was probably as impressed by Gus's display as anyone, and he'll likely harbor some delusions that Gus/Mike went out of his way to protect him. Jesse is almost certainly going to stick with Gus all the way home, and then possibly try to convince Walt to stop trying to kill him. Walt's reaction to that is obvious... Then Jesse is going to openly turn against Walt in favor of loyalty to Gus- which is ironic as hell, because saving Jesse is what put Walt at odds with Gus in the first place.

    In fact, I believe that Jesse turning is what's going to drive Walt to help Hank with his case, which will be much easier since Mike is incapacitated.

    As far as Skylar's little side-quest... I think that either Ted is going to be brought into the loop (to some extent) and his business used to help launder Walt's money, or he's going to be found dead sitting in his garage with his brand new Mercedes running and him in the front seat (not likely by his own choice).

    it's interesting to me how everybody thinks Skyler's little fiasco is just a "side quest." For how much the writers have impressed me so far, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they ultimately tie that in nicely with the main conflict.

    In fact, it would surprise me if that stays a "side quest" through the end.

    there are no side stories in this show, every detail fits into the bigger picture. if you go back and watch them all again its crazy how well they pay attention to the little things.

    Except for the scene between Walt and his son all scenes advanced the storyline. I think Sylvrdragon is right with the unexpected turn with Skyler's boss, he'll be brought into the main storyline. Jesse could have ended the Gus drama by blasting him and Mike. Lol.

    Skyler going bad makes her less cunty which is good, I think the money is going to come back and bite them in the ass though.

    Also Mike didn't drink it either. You had to know something was up when Gus took those pills. If I remember correctly he only took 2, which leaves 1 remaining in the container.

    Initially I thought that Don Eladio's right hand man (Gaff) had somehow decided to team up with Gus since he wasn't going to drink either, but nope... he didn't make it so much. Got a little wire necklace. I guess it makes sense that Mike and Gaff didn't drink since they were there to protect their bosses.

    Wouldn't really be all that surprising considering what else would they need him for? they could just tell Walt that he was in Mexico making meth for the cartel, not saying I think that's what was about to happen but imo they have no reason to keep him alive so it wouldn't be impossible

    If they wanted him dead why not just let him have a shot too, instead of potentially tipping off the cartel to make sure he DOESN'T drink the poison. Simply absurd to think that Mike was going to shoot him, or the writers fucked up which, given the quality of the show, is pretty unlikely. People reading too much into things and/or are just dumb.

    at the point he was offered the shot, something still could have gone wrong with gus's plan and i'm they would have rather had him alive to help them get out of the don's house without getting shot up
