    The show has only spanned about the time of a year. Plus Saul specifically said that the guy only took cash and I'm sure they have a lot of money tied up in the laundering (among other places).

    Series spanned over a year, but the first half or so he was freelancing. I would guess he spent about 5-6months with Gus. First 3 months he earned 3 million dollars, split with Jessie thats 1.5million. He probably made another 1 mil since. After paying for Hank's treatment (~500k-1mil), his own cancer treatement (~200k?), the 800k carwash, and the 650k that skyler gave to her boss, it makes sense he'd almost be broke.

    Their phones have to be tapped by gus, because I swear to god, if Gus was able to know about the poison, he sure as fuck has their phones on lock too. I also forsee mega cliffhanger next week leading into the final season.

    I feel like the kid getting into the ricin cigarette has to be a red herring, or a coincidence, but with this show you can never tell.

    I feel the same way. Too easy, and this show is never that predictable in the season finales. I think that Walt n Jesse are going to really fuck up. Yes, that is all they ever do, but I just can't think that it will be that obvious.

    I kind of think he probably just took it on his own at some point, wanting to be a rebellious kid and trying a cigarette; I know that Jesse said he had seen it in his pocket that morning, but maybe he's misremembering in his state of extreme paranoia. It seems more likely than Gus knowing about the ricin cigarette and poisoning the kid just to piss off Jesse and point him at Brock.

    I'm also having trouble reading Gus in this last episode. Did he poison Brock as a power play? Did he mention that he has sway at the hospital as a way of asserting his dominance over Jesse? Is Tyres acting under Gus' orders when he shows blatant disrespect to Jesse (like making him reach over for the phone) or is he just sick of dealing with primadonna meth cooks? Gus may have no idea what's going on at all with Jesse and Walt, though he's clearly feeling that there's something going on.

    It's possible that Brock took the ricin cigarette at any point in time really. Brock could've took it, smoked it, noticed after a while that the one he took was backwards, and flipped one of the other cigarettes around to replace it.

    Wasn't the one that Jesse initially took out at the hospital the reversed cigarette? Thought the scene went: he took out a cigarette, and in the state of mind he was in he accidently took the flipped one out. Then tore it apart to look for the ricin and didn't find it
