My synopsis: Either one of two things happened. Walt using Saul's knowledge of where those people live and the pat down earlier, had saul poison the kid so Jesse would figure it out and make him assume that Gus did it with no intention of the kid getting hurt since he assumed Jesse would easily figure it out. Or some third party did this and it will lead into the new main antogonist for season 5. (Possibly the cartels as that old guy thinks that Jesse murdered his family?)

That doesn't make sense though, Jesse kept the Ricin inside a little glass tube, how could he smoke it through the container? It seems more likely that Gus had something to do with it.

Highly doubt they will introduce a new end game boss with only one season left. Will be Walter + Jesse vs Gus. Wonder if heroin chick will ever get brought up

I still think it's all a red herring. There's no reason to bring Jane back up. Even Mike wouldn't be able to figure out Walt let her die. I don't know what's happening with season 5, but I can't see Gus surviving next week. My guess is that season 5 Walt goes back to cooking meth because of the costs he's incurred this season with the DEA right on his ass. Something like that.

There's another possibility: Hector may not have family left, but who's to say that means he's harmless? And he knows who Pinkman is, knows Pinkman killed his grandson, knows Heisenberg is Walter White, etc.

Hmm, yes, I could definitely see that being the case. Then either Gus gets offed for something Hector did, or he finds out and finally ends Hector. Or both.

Sounds interesting. As much as the tension between Walt/Jesse is entertaining, i really awnt to see them teamup for the future.

Having thought about it more, I think Brock didn't get the ricin cigarette. I think he's sick with something else, the flu or something equally mundane. When Jesse flipped out and told Andrea about the ricin, Andrea freaks out and tells the doctors, who test for it and it's not ricin. When he comes back to the hospital, Andrea and her Mom want nothing to do with him because he's a delusional junkie, not because he had ricin. It seems to me that if it was ricin, they would want to talk to him, and the police and/or security would pounce on him the second he showed up. Jesse probably has the pack of cigarettes with the ricin in a different jacket, or something equally simple. Given his current state of mind, grabbing a different jacket on the way out of the house seems likely. Occam's Razor.

That makes for a far, far simpler explanation than "Gus saw them make ricin on the video, knew exactly what it was, knew exactly where Walt and/or Jesse had hid the cigarette, had someone break into Jesse's house or had Hule (who's an idiot who works for Saul, not Gus or Mike) lift it from Jesse, track down a 6 year old boy, poison him, in the faint hope that Jesse would flip out, blame Walt and kill him."

If it's neither explanation, I imagine it's far closer to the simpler explanation than the elongated version. The show is far too well written, IMHO, to try to string together a series of extremely unbelievable events. It also fits the show's writing style that this series of endgame events would be set in motion by a 6-year old boy who caught a cold.

Well what did gus mean when "Appropriate measures will be taken" to deal with walter after the DEA went sniffing around the laundry mat? He said it then nothing came of it unless he was trying to do what walter found out which was pit jessie against him by fucking with the little kid. For all he knows he could have poisoned the boy with a number of things and just took the ricen so he would assume. If I remember correctly it takes like a day or 2 for it to take effect and he got sick within hours but given he is a kid and not an adult it could have had an accelerated affect because he is young but who knows.

What I want to know is how the hell Gus knew about the car. I think maybe he had someone watch the security tapes since he is on the board while he talked to jessie or maybe he has a camera in their home. Other then that he is one smart son of a bitch and I have a feeling its going to be an all out war next season.

There are problems with that theory, but I like it a lot more than Gus being some kind of psychic.
