I just really want Skylar to die. I am starting to think everyone at AMC has a horibad marriage, as their leading women all whiney shit bags. Lori (Walking Dead) Draper's Ex (Mad Men), and Skylar.

They are usually ugly ass women too, minus January Jones.
I could find more attractive women at the local grocery store...KILL HER PLZ
It would help if she was a likeable character, but she isn't and has never been. Not to me anyways, the carwash involvement was more annoying if anything. Her acting/looking dead and worthless, especially now since she already knew he was into sketchy and dangerous work. Meanwhile Gus threatened to kill her, walt, walt JR, and the baby.
I am just sick of it as much as the next person, we have been dealing with this bullshit non stop since season 1 and it needs to end.
God i love Mike and was happy to see an episode dedicated to him. Nothing like seeing a cold blooded killer playing Hungry Hungry Hippos.

i definitely think it will end as Jesse v Walt (with Jesse prolly maybe killing him; Walt has to die somehow, cancer is possible) but they've done too much in setting up Hank as a major antagonist to disregard the plotline with him just accepting Walt's dealings
they are splitting up the season so i could see 5.1 ending with Hank making the discovery to set-up a major clash in 5.2 or Walt killing Hank / convincing Jesse/Mike to
poor bastard Hank i don't see how he makes it out of the series alive
I think Hank will find out, be in too much shit (You see how his boss got fired for just being friends with Gus and failing to realize all this shit out? He was a scapegoat even though it wasn't his fault, someone had to get fired). He'll realize that Walt paid for his treatment with that money, and that there's no way that he can reveal all this without getting fucked in the ass government wise, so he'll wind up joining with Walt as his DEA informant. Gus had a DEA informant, and walt will want one to emulate Gus as much as possible. Also, the series tends to always have things, no matter what the problem is, fall into Walt's lap without him doing much. c
there is absolutely no way Hank goes to the dark side, would destroy every aspect of characterization they've ever done for him
And there was no way mike was going to help Walt, or that he was going to kill his own men. Then he got put into a do or die situation, which is what the writers of this show do a lot.
I don't really see Mike joining Walt to be out of character. The money Hank took from him was under his granddaughters name, so it must have been money that he left for her for after he died. The way I see it, Walt and Mike are in it for the same reason; Family. When he was going to shoot that chick in face, her concern wasn't for her life, it was for her daughter, which brought Mike to the realization of whats really important. He knows Walt is a time bomb, he knows it won't end well, but it doesn't matter because the only thing on his mind is getting money back for his granddaughter.
Yes, but the writers FORCED him into that position. His character says that he won't join Walt because it's a bad decision, but now they left him with no other options, much like what could happen with Hank and Walt. Hanks character says to turn in Walt, but the writers could put him in the position to have no other choice.
there's always a choice, even if that choice is him being disgraced and kicked out of the DEA/put in jail/whatever. Not saying he will, just that there is always another option, even if it's unpleasant as hell.
As it stands, Hank still does not really respect Walt as a man. I believe Hank already suspects that Walt is some how involved. Since last season he has given Walt these looks when Walt reveals yet another side of himself that Hank has underestimated. Imagine the competitive nature that will spring from learning all this time Walt was Heisenburg. Hank will then respect Walt, but considering he is also an egotistical bastard as well, he will take it as an affront to his masculinity and see it as a challenge. The two will definitely attempt find ways to sink each other, in preferable non-lethal 'Go Go Gadget' kind of way.
I still think Hank knows more than we've been lead to believe. It's not like he could just drop dime on Walt without ruining his own life.
perhaps the videos weren't encrypted, but with the laptop being wiped he is weighing his options about what to do now
the series is based on Walt making bad decisions he wouldn't have otherwise have made, and manipulating Jesse/Skyler into doing the same
Hank is a different animal entirely
i don't know where you guys get well Mike worked with Walt so Hank will too line of thinking. Mike is a murderer, commits felonies routinely, was already operating as the hired muscle for a major meth deal. now he is... willing to operate as the hired muscle for a major meth deal. he'd rather not, but it' was never some giant leap of faith to believe he would link up with Walt.
worst thing Hank ever did was act like a dick to his wife over a bag of cheetohs. he would sooner ruin his own life and his career than partake in Walt's immorality. and i think that will be juxtaposed with Walt's fall, that he was not forced into this by the hands of fate, that there is always an option to do what is right and Walt never chose that option and Hank will prove himself to be a better man than Walter, as he has been proving for the entire series
I'm no expert but aside from the obvious of Jesse killing Walt, couldn't another satisfying ending be showing how Walt has lost everything. I mean it's harder to pull off, but claiming he does everything for family, wouldn't Walt surviving at the end to see how he lost ALL his family (and money too) be a fitting conclusion as well?
Maybe Jesse after learning everything is about to kill Walt, and Walt seeing how he's lost everything, is welcoming being killed. Walt begging Jesse to kill him but Jesse then saying after what you've done, death would be too kind. Then he walks away like a badass?
I dunno, I still think I prefer Jesse killing Walt anyway though.
Walt is definitely not the only character who's been forced into making bad decisions in the name of preservation/the people he loves. Walt had nothing to do with Skyler's decision to "convince" Ted to pay off his IRS debts, or to cook his books in the first place. Hank spent a lot of season two refusing to go back to the border because of his PTSD which lead to him getting shot through the spine. Everyone makes bad decisions on this show. Jesse's decision to push meth at an AA meeting lead to a little boy being executed.
I don't buy the idea that Hank would ever work with Walt, but would Hank possibly be complicit to Walt's actions? Possibly. He's got a lot to lose if it's ever revealed. The great Heisenberg was right there, the great Heisenberg duped him, and the great Heisenberg just paid all of his medical bills. I think the look on his face when his superior was talking about Gus was telling. He looked paralyzed by the knowledge that he's in the same boat and that boat is sinking and he doesn't know what to do about it.
This may have started all about Walt wanting to do right by his family, but it's become all about the power he's gained from doing it. He's just using the family thing both as an excuse and as an emotional leverage now. He's a card carrying villain.
The scene where Hanks boss talks about Gus being right under his nose and he didn't see it as the camera was on Hank had me thinking maybe he realized something.
