Breaking Bad

We have seen most of the unfolding of the story of a previously timid unimposing man who made the bad decisions for his own gain despite the consequences. What we haven't seen, and the clash I am expecting, is to now also see the unfolding of the story of a previously brash yet powerful man who makes the right decisions at his own expense because of the consequences.

The final confrontation has to be Walt versus Hank. It will be a showdown five seasons in the making. Where it will get interesting is who the other characters will stand behind when it does happen.

the show's been structured as a classical tragedy. the hero falls into wickedness, usually on account of hubris, and is punished severely for it. Oedipus wanted the right of way, Icarus the warmth of the sun, Walter White a legacy. showrunners could switch it up but Walt's punishment is still to come, and death seems the likeliest outcome given that he's been a dying man (physically and morally) the entire series

Sheez..... I was wore out and passed out while watching this weeks episode. I woke up right when Mike was about to shoot that dude with the shaved head, I thought it was Jesse! I woke right up and was like WTF just happened, had to rewind it and see what was going on..... I freaked for a min there.....
