When she was standing in the background facing the pool, I was on the edge of my seat. I don't think I heard a word that Walt said during that time. I was waiting for her to have a gun and for her to put it in her mouth. I would have came.

In my opinion, the show would lose a ton of its gravity without her. The family aspect is important, and it's a huge part of the transformation of Walt's character. She's made mistakes - as everyone else has - but is in my mind a very well written, believable, and necessary character.

I'm not saying your gut reaction should be to like her. It's easy not to, the way the show is written. But when you make posts like the previously quoted, it sounds like people think she's a fault in the show or something.

Poor writing or no, Schyler's made some very poorly thought out decisions and then thinks very radically about how the outcomes of those decisions should come about. But hey, she's a woman. So that sounds like spot on perfect characterization to me. /sexistjoke
