I hate Skyler because she's really ugly. Really manly looking. The constant nagging and belittling have more than likely contributed to his current behavior. Imagine if he had a more supportive and loving wife; then everything he did would have been for the money/family, not the status and image of being Heisenberg.

She was completely loving and supporting at the beginning of the show, really. Find me a wife who is still loving, supportive, and unafraid after Walt has done what he has done and I'll find you a woman too crazy to function.

It's not "white knighting" to try and explain to people how human interaction works and what people are like. She fucked Ted, but pretty much everything else - even giving him that money to cover her own ass - has pretty much made sense.

But yeah, no, she's probably going to die.

Skyler is written like she should be, fairly realistic in her actions and reactions, but that doesn't change that I find her part horribly boring. I find myself tolerating her scenes to get to the parts of the show that I enjoy (everything but Skyler).

Mike is killed by Jesse to help Lydia. (Or done by Walt and covered to look like one of the guys being hushhush for Mike that want their emergency funds killed him.)
Hank finds out its Walt all along. Won't do shit since it would also screw him in the ass.
Walt fakes suicide or murder/kidnapping/mia/etc.
Daughter is given to Marie and Hank as custody by-will when Walt "dies" and recreates a name for himself elsewhere.
Ending is him going back for Jesse for some reason.

Walt went into all of this with family security in mind, accepting his fate to die. If I were a writer ending a series I would go for the biggest emotional impact possible.

Killing Skylar and the baby would be over doing it as Skylar's character is polarizing as it is, and the baby - although an innocent baby, we have very little to no connection to her.

I'd opt for killing Jr, allowing Walt to survive. Junior, who we have a great connection with, has remained innocent and neutral throughout the entire series, has been the voice of reason in many instances; killing him would serve as a major blowback to the viewer.

Walt Jrs medical expenses was one of the main reasons Walt went into cooking meth. If Junior dies, if the cancer comes back you have an amazing end to a series and a killer setup for a movie with Walt now as the main villain vs Skylar/Jesse/Hank.

In the first episode when Mike confronts Walt he starts talking about them having no idea what they've done, and in the future scene he buys that huge gun.

That gun makes it seem like Walt is going to go out guns blazing Scarface style.

The fact that they were watching Scarface was definitely apt on many levels. I'm starting to hate Skyler just because of how divisive she is to discussions of the show.

Only thing i'm confused about is peoples cloudy look on morality between Skylar and Walt. Walt is the farthest thing from a good guy as you can get, but skylar has become the bad guy mostly for cheating on walt and kicking him out of the house. If you're going to throw in morals cheating and cooking books are not on the same level as murder and poisoning a child.

I think the Scarface Jazz is a red Herring, personally. It's all too obvious for this show, imo. I mean, hell look at the pink teddy bear we saw compared to Gus's death.

Well, in the same episode Walt mentions the Icarus myth which is also very close to Scarface. I think it all ties together (especially knowing what we know from the cold open in episode one). I fully expect the outcome to be very bad for Walt, and possibly everyone else, but I am along for the ride to see how we get there.

2) I agree, Walt will strangle her and make it look like she hung herself.
3) Both Mike and Jesse are still alive. Mike kills Lydia.
4) Hank finds out about Walt. Walt Kills Hank. No one knows who kills Hank.
5) Walt obviously disappears using that cleaning service, that's like a 98% possibility.
6) Marie adopts the infant, with Walt and Skyler gone.
7) I agree, except it's Jesse + Mike vs Walt, because he fucked them over somehow.
