apparently the new game+ feature can't be used over and over, it's a one time per save thing, which does kinda suck ;(

Ryko how's your luck getting possessed weapons? I read in an interview that the devs only got 2-3 throughout a whole playthough, I have 4 through the first 4 dungeons...
Only got three on my first playthrough as well. Theyre so good, I end up keeping a possessed weapon for far longer than anything else.
i remember during one of the video plays they kept talking about healing on crit hits, how hard is it to get that style of weapon? or what do you tend to use so far
The first scythe I got I couldn't upgrade to be better than the chaos scythe or whatever the Darksiders 1 bonus scythe is called, but that could have just been from not fully understanding the upgrading system. The scythe I have now though I can't see myself replacing anytime soon.
I only focus on either crit bonuses or execution chance. Strength and Damage come inherently and if I really need health, teleport slash camping through a few enemies fixes that quickly.
I change to crit chance on bosses that I actually have to fight, my execute chance style for crucible and large mob waves.
what's execute, is that low hp hit e from darksiders 1?
So I don't have to beat Darksiders before playing Darksiders II? I liked it alright but the combat in one felt repetitive.
1 has the more compelling part of the story, but you ind out all about it in 2 anyway.
How good is the armor/scythe for having played Darksiders 1? Wondering if i should try to rush through it rq before Tuesday
Both are pretty good at low levels, but will probably be replaced around the time you finish the first area.

Quick guide on getting Omega blades if you want to get some early arm blades
brainfarting today, I'm sure it's been said, are the storyline dungeons still zeldaish? get partway in and get a tool to solve more puzzles etc, and use on the boss?
well i mean specifically the halfway through get a new tool e.g. boomerang, and then a bunch of boomerang puzzles, and a boss you use the boomerang on. Most of the loot talk has been loot like weapons and armor and I'm trying to remember what they said regarding gadgets and the like primarily for puzzles.
yes its the same as the first in the case of "oh you find the gun, well as you mention it i do need that to blow up the bombs so i can move to the next area!" Darksiders has the nickname "The M rated Zelda", from what i have seen game play wise its more assassin creed meets prince of Persia with all the jumping you have to do
The majority of the gadgets aren't found in dungeons, but the majority of the puzzles in the dungeons require gadgets, as do some bosses.
