hmm. i'm turning 21 in a month and a half, what should i play first at casinos? i dicked around with penny slots on a cruise and won like $300(if only i had bet the full amount), so i'm done with those. i live in a casino town.
Craps is the most fun IMO, and it can take a long time to lose money if you play conservatively (meaning more free drinks and table time, assuming you actually enjoy gambling). However, it can be intimidating at first - play a free online simulator and learn the basics and the best way to play if you want to stretch your money.

If you have infinity money, why the fuck would you want to gain anything in the first place? Anything would be trivial compared to the amount you already have. Not to mention you will devaluate your money in the first place, but that's another topic.

Other than that, Aurik is right here. You won't make money out of that scenario, unless luck is on your side, and you better stop early before the statistical fluke get averaged out if you do win something.
What cloud people's judgement in this case is that it's very easy with this methods to make a small non significant gain. Because of this, they believe it's easy to repeat this "very likely" scenario multiples time in a row and score something significant. However, what they forget is that combining these "very likely small gain" is still less likely than "losing big time".
In the end, if the probability to win is 47%, it doesn't matter what happen, but it's like flipping a coin that is slightly in the favor of the other person. If you have 10 or 100 millions on you, you will get a 47% return on your moneys if you stop and start over multiples times, or have a 47% chance to win double.

That does not account for counting cards. You always have an advantage when counting, regardless of rules, with the only exceptions being if the decks are shuffled each round, or if you cannot enter a table mid-shoe and you cannot change your bet. Regardless of how many decks are used, or any other rules, a high count will always give you an advantage. The only difference is how high it needs to be.
That calculator assumes you play every hand, and you bet the same amount (or randomly) each hand. When counting cards, one or both of these is untrue. You can either choose to not play any hand that does not offer at least, say, a 1% edge, or you can bet the minimum on hands when the count is low (high house edge), and the max when it is high (high player edge).
Your edge varies with each individual hand, so your overall edge varies with luck, how you bet, and which hands you even play.
I prefer to go in with a specific amount of money and target games where you're not playing the house (e.g. poker).
Find a limit table with some wasted people out to have a good time, play conservatively, and you have better odds of walking out at a profit than any game against the house. If someone sits at the table who's much better than you, try to avoid playing them (only stay in with gold-plated hands, and let them be smart enough to go for the easier marks).

Anyone who still thinks this is a good idea, do what I did when I thought this was a great idea back when I was in college. Write a simple program which you give an initial amount to bet, how much money you have to bet, and let it play the OP's proposed system until it goes bankrupt. I had it print out the amount of games it took to go bankrupt, and how much money it peaked at.
Even scenarios like "I have a million dollars, and I will bet $1 to start" had bad results. Because it would still go bankrupt eventually, and the amount of money it would earn was never that great. Since any winning game would simply win the initial bet, and you needed a huge bankroll to prevent a quick bankruptcy. You end up having to bet a pathetic amount in proportion to the amount of money you have, and you likely would make more money flipping burgers.
I doubt anyone who still thinks this is a good idea has the brain cells to write any sort of program.
I'd do this starting with a dollar if it were allowed because you probably won't lose too much money for a long time.

And yeah, doing this with $1 start wouldn't be bad. Wouldn't make you money, and you'd eventually go bankrupt, but if you enjoy gambling and have a moderate bankroll it would very likely give you plenty of good times. Although using such a strict system would ruin that too for you pretty quick imo.
why would you willingly go into a casino, knowing you will lose money, and play until you run out? do you get off on losing or something? gambling mentality is like teenage immortality.
