Game is pretty fun, definitely one of the most well made free MMOs out there so far. First two instances were pretty meh, third one had a cool boss (had to fight two at once and one of them had some interesting skills). Pretty damn easy thus far though, they're all 3 man instances and me and Akiyama have been duoing them all no problem. Definitely worth checking out if you're bored and in a grindan mood. My character is Moeblob on Aquamarine. Just hit level 25 and unlocked Knight so probably gonna mess around on that tomorrow/later.

And despite how that screenshot might look, the game looks pretty fantastic in motion. Every single screenshot I've taken comes out looking like ass though.

You realize they're (for the most part) just a publisher, right? From past experience I've always been pretty happy with how Aeria runs things. Their cash shop tends to not be completely ridiculous like other f2p companies. Stuff like costumes can have obscene prices, but all of the notable stuff is attainable without it, or you can buy cash shop items off other players in game (usually easily done through AH).

Is hate managed alright without a tank class? We've just been rocking all the bosses with Warrior + Cleric, but it's kinda slow. Was worried that Cleric might take hate off of classes without malice skills.

i've only pulled hate from my pet once on every boss i've fought thus far(char level 27 hunter 26 atm) and it was only for about 5 seconds and my pet took it right back.

i'm not even using any -%malice gear or talents either... it's pretty crazy

*edit* my friend playing cleric has never pulled hate on a singular boss, and i kept angela on my just by shooting her a few times and she never stopped hitting me till juan was dead then she switched to my pet basically right away.

Got CB invite yesterday(on the Emerald server, 1 character named Iggins), did the first instance(we died a couple times, probably should have built my warrior for tanking) and got level 10 so now I can play hunter and get to work on the Engineer/Mechanic job(what ever the names). Seems okay so far, though I'm already missing subclasses (carrying skills over to different classes would also be nice) since right now it looks like the only way to heal yourself without being cleric is potions... speaking of healing yourself, is there a way to cast heal spells on yourself without targeting yourself? When I tried out cleric I had to constantly spam F1 then cast my heal spell before the mob hit me and changed targets, there's gotta be an easier way I'm missing.

Edit: WTH an auto pilot feature... If you open quest log you can click GO and it runs to the objective's destination. Be it NPC or mobs.

In one of the tabs in settings you wanna tick "Target". Makes it so buffs/heals/etc automatically target you unless you're targeting another friendly user. Some other settings in there you might wanna enable too, you can see what they do when you mouse over them.

I'll probably go ahead and make another character on Aquamarine since I know I won't last long in this game soloing and it'll give me a chance to try out the Mage class, I'll most likely be sticking with the name Iggins.

Don't even need to open the log, just right click it on your quest tracker.

S'all about the multitasking. Although my class levels are slacking behind now that I'm reaching higher levels. I've been rocking Warrior, Magician and Cleric but have gotten Knight up to 22 now so I'll be using that instead of Warrior to tank. Surprisingly enough it seems to be a vastly better damage dealer for now. Can't wait for OB/Full Release so I can get my hands on Templar. Used to playing Paladins where you can actually heal yourself too rather than having to constantly chug potions if you don't want downtime.
