Loving this game so far! I set a dps heroic trait, but I'm totally gettin' into cleric... I didn't shoot myself in the foot did I?

Repeatables are a huge waste of time, you shouldn't be drying up on quests, try and avoid being boosted in instances, as nice as it is. They play a huge part in making sure you stay around the right level, Kinda sucks I know.
Alright thanks.
Servers are up.
Weird, this time around I'm definitely drying up on quests a level too early (meaning I have to grind a bit). I'm also skipping dungeons though. I did fine without them during CB. :/
Edit: Another thing, the solo-dungeon option somebody mentioned earlier... its not that the drops are broken... it's not changing the dungeon at all. If you solo'd a dungeon, it was basically the normal version of it. That or Quarry is broken.
This is kinda a "it depends" thing. There's fame chests in each area that sell you stuff if you have a certain amount of fame in that area. Some of accessories and trophies are very worthwhile, but you can always go back and do some repeatables to get them later if you just skip em now.
Depending on which one you picked it may benefit quite a few classes (AGI and LCK ones both help all classes to some degree, STR is basically just melee/rangeers only). Either way, regardless of what you pick you're gonna have to deal with not being the absolute best at every class. Probably not a bad thing that Cleric is that class, since they probably have one of the least notable benefits of taking a Heroic Trait aimed at them (Wisdom one). Never really seemed necessary with how much they can heal already... most Clerics seem to be able to outheal any damage you're taking (extenuating circumstances aside) without it.
Did they increase the drop rate on Trophies? I got the MP -6 one from Fort and the +15 int one from Tasos both first runs, didn't see a single trophy untill Ulta Halls in CB and even then it was after like 10 runs.
Also those one man dungeons are insanely tough. The trash is fine but the bosses seem WAY too hard for one person. Maybe I'm using the wrong class though, tried it with Mage and Cleric.
What 1 man dungeon? There are either 3 or 5 man dungeon.
There's a mode to do a 1 man version of the dungeons. At least for the first few.
Dungeons now have an option to be completed by 1 person, if you talk to the Soul Guardian. Don't think the system is adjusted yet, though
Lurk lurk

Level 24, Aqua, IGN is Rivero
I am on Aquamarine, would love to join up with the BGers here, Was on Channel 2 last night, but will go wherever. Got to lvl 12 on mage, really enjoying this game. In game name is Neowyn.![]()
Damn not highest level in my guild anymore because power went out in pretty much my entire town from about 9 am to now. Time to get back to grindin![]()
As far as content up to level 40 goes, no. We'll have to see what healing is like in the new dungeons but honestly none of the traits "really" mattered for cleric. Get you're heal up to about 2k from gear and you should be set. I would wager you're going to want it up to 3k by 50. You're much better off picking one like you did. ^^
Thanks for the heroic trait feedback. I had actually picked the Agi/atkspd trait. I've actually found it useful in dungeons when we already had a healer and I could switch to thief.
