Has anyone else missed a captcha and even though you enter the next one correctly it jails you anyways? Just happened to me for the second time in as many days. :-/ It's pretty infuriating.

I typed it in wrong once in a rush, but when I typed in the second attempt it worked fine. I have seen a few people complaining about the same thing though, and in some instances the captcha doesn't even pop up at all... they just get jailed out of nowhere. Aeria really need to hurry up and remove that crap, it's obvious it isn't working in the slightest to deter bots.

it isn't so bad imo Whenever it pops up I go rampage shit and spam abilities until I've got like 5 seconds left, enter, max mp ftw.

The bots that are working are just regular bots, I believe, and people just have to be around to enter the captcha. Which is still pretty good.. your actual "work" is a few seconds every so often(when I'm grinding on hunter I find a good spawn location and just sit there with one hand on mouse spamming attack+1 and I don't get the captcha more often than once every 2 hours). It has certainly deterred the public community of hackers from making/releasing bots, which keeps a LARGE amount of people from using them.

It's a success imo, the most botters you'd see are dumb kids who search "eden eternal hackz" and because of the captcha they're not finding anything.

Meh, shit's not that big of a deal, especially if you use a keyboard to play and not a controller. With a controller.. just reach forward on the numpad and hit 4 digits/enter. It's not that difficult.

Question about the "random clothing color" stuff -- how does it work? I don't understand the 3 different parts, or why some of the changes aren't reflected on my clothing when I press "confirm."

My understanding was that you pick section 1, 2 or 3 and any one of the 5 colors in that item would be applied. As for it not coloring anything, is it possible that the item can fail? I just bought my colors from the Vendors since I was having puke colored luck with the randoms.

Pretty sure it can fail, yeah, I remember reading something in the item description about a success rate or something like "If successful, item will blah blah blah."

So you pick a color each for sections 1, 2 and 3 and it randomly applies one of those 3 parts to your clothing?

Yep. Pretty much. You pick a section, 1 2 or 3, and then apply the item. The item itself will randomly apply one of those 5 colors to the section you chose ... or fail. So you would need at least 3 items to color all 3 sections as each item will only color one of the 3.


But if you didn't realize there are Dye NPCs that sell single color dyes for pretty cheap. I am guessing the random color items have a wider range, thus the appeal, but for me I just wanted black for my Hunter pretty much and the randoms where pissing me off. I think at one point he had lime green + purple + light brown. I started vomiting on my keyboard. Aesthetics are the death of me.

Haha, thats so annoying I spend a fuck load on random dyes today and I ended up looking like fucking kermit, I didn't know there is actual dye vendors, where abouts are they?

There are level 25 ones as well, but that doesn't do me any good at 35(at least I have seen a 35 one yet)... can the shop dyes be traded?
