Now that I have my Knight halfway equipped I'd like to start farming Rams Blood. Anyone interested let me know. I'd like to farm it in the fastest way possible which is to just train all the mobs and bard kill them or if any other jobs have good AoE DoT to help out that would be cool as well.

Then change jobs and kill Rams Blood.

Anyone who is in can lot the trophy I dont care. I just want to do this with a good group instead of Randoms because it makes me die a little on the inside when I have to deal with the general playerbase. lol

kinda meh with this game anymore. stopped being fun for me when:
1. I'm forced to play classes I don't like, either because it's a prereq for another class or fucking everyone wants to play a dps and the choice is play a tank or don't do dungeons
2. I started having to grind to raise my character level so I'd be offered mainline quests
3. It became evident that the majority of the playerbase has either never played another MMO or is terrible

@Priran What level are you? I know how you feel with the whole 'having to be a tank to get dungeon runs'.. that's why I did 95% of my dungeons with folks I knew. (Mostly people form here.)

Ah. Yeah, that's where Guild Quests and what not are very handy. Are you in a guild? I mean.. we could get you in the one some of us are in, and if you need help clearing stuff, if people are available, I'm sure they'd help

Well, it's not so much guild crap/typical linkshell crap. It's good for getting quests that pay out (you have to kill the same shit you have to kill in the area for story quests as it is) and all that jazz. Not like it's a linkshell.. "ZOMG GET TO THE EVENT OR FAIL FGT"

I just started playing this game, on Aquamarine. It looks super nice. Pretty easy game play so far. Enjoying it but I don't see myself becoming a hardcore player.

Is it possible to play effectively without buying points or is that something you have to do eventually to get past certain points of the game?

You can buy almost anything from the store with gold in game, but some things will cost quite a lot. About the only things you might 'need' are safety stones so you can get +4 to 10 and above weapons at Lv50 (scrolls are 100% up to a certain HQ level, at 50 its either up to +2 or 3, beyond that it's a % to succeed or destroy the item).

Its very possible to play effectively without buying points. I haven't bought any AP yet and the only issue I may be having is that I havent upgraded my armor and weapons to +8 or so because I dont have any Safety stones. I can always buy them on the AH though when I have spare money.

Basically you'll just have to work a bit harder than people that buy AP. And its really not that bad.

Yeah, I've never bought AP and never plan to. All of the interesting stuff you can get (Such as an Auric Jewel, which is 7 days worth of +50% character/class exp) is around 100-130g, give or take.. and then the safety stones, but you can get everything that AP buyers get.. with your own in game funds.
