Video Games for Seniors

He's bugging me to help him find new games, but I'm at a bit of a loss. He's retired so there's lots of free time to be had but I think the most 'twitch' game I've ever seen my dad play was Arkanoid. I at first thought of Plants vs. Zombies but that gets pretty twitch (particularly the mini games and the harder levels like fog) so I'm really thinking I need to find games that let him take his time between turns.

My dad never really played video games. Except "Riven". That shit was like crack to him.

Took him weeks or months even to finish it too, making notes about levers to pull etc, but he stuck with it.

Puzzle and Strategy games for sure. Had a friend's dad who would play C&C for hours on end, even fall asleep playing it before he would wake up for work.

Tetris, Bejewled, Heroes of Might & Magic is a fun turn based strategy as well. Too bad there's never been an update to 7th Guest or 13th Hour

My Dad strictly plays NES and SNES games on his laptop.
