Well in a JP MMO, jp tend to do "fighting" for like 2-3 hours, then sit and chat with friends for like 8 hours... reminds me of the group in uldah near the steps, that little spot toward the adventurer's guild. About 5-6 people sitting around crafting and chatting 6-8 hours a day in public chat spam emoting each other for weeks.

I remember seeing this a few years ago but can't remember what it was from or where I saw it. It's a short anime made by a student in college that has beautiful animation and a cute and funny story (pretty sure everyone will like it).

Yeah, I looked up the guys site and info earlier but that wasn't it. I think someone linked it to me somewhere back in 2009 and I really liked it then (I don't see how anyone couldn't like it) but I don't remember to what context it was linked or where I found the link. Think I was talking to someone about animation and then this got brought up or something (or maybe it was a random article on Sankaku)

The "This is Halloween" Soul Eater AMV made me wanna watch it, but all I can find is the dubbed version on the Funimation website. Anyone have a link where I can stream or download the sub-titled version? I don't trust A) The English voice actors to be any good, B) The Funimation version to be without any censorship from the original.

Shortly after I posted, I actually found a google link to nyaa torrents and got a batch torrent. It's not that one though, it's from a group called [SG]. I don't know all that much about fansub groups; any feedback on which is likely to be better between [SG] and [SEF]?

That's a sticky situation.

During the broadcast, Bones or some production company issued a C&D on the fansubbers, so most of the good groups dropped the project partway through.
[Tadashi] and [Hatsuyuki] were the only suppliers for a while, and they were TERRIBLE. And sadly, most of the complete series torrents hold some of their episodes.
Plus, I can't point you at the torrent I used because this was so long ago that Mininova was still the place to get stuff.

Also nobody really labeled if the raws they were working with were from the day or LATE SHOW broadcast. This was before Queen's Blade/DaiMaou/AsobiNiIkuYo/HOTD made subbers start focusing on making sure they were getting the "better" versions of shows.

Never heard of either of them so I can't help you there, just go with whatever's faster or finishes first lol

Just watched Mardock Scramble: The First Compression

Wow, kind of disturbing. Good movie, though.

I'll warn you that it ends on a cliffhanger and I have no idea when the second film is coming out. I enjoyed it, though. Looking forward to the second film, I believe it's a trilogy.
