Good thing then, I can watch it now.

I liked Baccano better. Both series were great, but Baccano had the most unique story out of the two, and the way every episodes were told out of order made it more intriguing.
Where can I download Broken Blade?

Should have both torrent links and DDL
Are any of the Haruhi things post season 1 worth watching at all? I never picked it up again after my first time watching S1 when it came out and I don't think I can bear to make it through Index S2 or Shana S2 without killing myself. I'm out of shit to watch![]()
The movie is stellar, really good. The second season, watch maybe the first and last episode of Endless Eight, because the middle episodes are all more or less the exact same with different scene angles/cuts/etc. And then the episodes after that are pretty enjoyable I suppose
Yesssss, it's finally up.
Wakfu (guess it could be considered an anime... a french one!)
Lots of spoilllers~
Wakfu is awesome, there's some really great stuff coming out of France these days.
I should hunt around to catch up with season two. Finding episodes was a pain because there was NO French -> English subbing community like with anime.
Edit: I'm also a bit miffed, because a spinoff game, Wakfu: Les Gardiens, is supposed to be epic and awesome and is not playable in English yet (and no word if it ever will be).
I've never seen Slayers, should I remedy this?
Yep![]()
I've posted a torrent for all of season 1 + NoX special translations french -> English on my site, and up to Episode 16 of season 2

You really need to watch the TV series in order since there are quite a few call backs to events in previous seasons that would be quite spoilerific if watched out of order.
The first season takes a little bit to really hit it's stride but gets quite good. Slayers Next is probably the best season, it seems to find a good balance between the wacky fantasy parodies and the serious story arc. Slayers Try is the weakest overall imo, but still entertaining. Revolution/Evolution-R are worthy successors to the originals, and since they were made 10 years later there is a noticeable animation bump that was much appreciated.
The OVAs/Movies are entertaining, but are more stand alone stories and don't really impact the overall mythos.
Slayers was awesome back then, but I don't think it aged well. The animation is starting to fall behind, and it aired back in the day where flat chests jokes were still new... There is still plenty of good gags, and the characters should still be likeable tho, but without nostalgia, it might be harder to like it.
Are you missing anything? It's a tough question, but if you want to watch a comedy/adventure/fantasy series, it's not too bad choice (especially the 2nd season).
Start with the first season and watch them in the same order they aired(Slayers, Slayer Next, Slayer Try). Slayers Premium (4th series) wasnt as good, but had decent animation. Movies were okay, and only 1 ova was good, but they aren't part of the main story.
Re-watched Samurai Champloo recently and it got me thinking that Samurai Champloo/Cowboy Bebop writers/director need to come out with something new. I really wanna watch something with that type of atmosphere.
Lol. Slayers. I remember watching that back in middle/high school when I watched the JP episodes of Dragonball Z just so I could brag to friends that I knew what happened later on. It came on right after. Even back then, though, it was alright. Another show that aired around the same time, El Hazard, was a little more interesting in my opinion.
