Who is this anime girl?
My parents bought a house a couple on months ago, and this was painted on one of the bedroom walls. I was wondering who it was, just out of curiosity.

It's obviously Yui from K-On
Yui came to mind first, then Haruhi. If it isn't them, I dunno.
It's Haruhi >.>
I thought the Bebop/Champloo guys made Michiko to Hatchin? You might try that (I haven't seen it, but heard it's great).
Slayers is totally a great series, and despite not aging well... haven't most of us agreed that the current humor/gags/stereotypes are played out and shitty now? It's not a bad idea to go back to something old, which has come full circle and is new and fresh by now. I watched Slayers through a year or two ago and absolutely loved the shit out of it. Granted, people who have watched a lot of early/mid 90s anime will probably get used to the style faster, but I think it's a strong enough series to be appreciated by anyone who enjoys fantasy and comedy, given a chance.
Another one like Slayers is Sorcerer Hunters, but I wasn't as fond of that one. It was often pretty boring imo, but I know a lot of people who loved it. Those who like shows of that time period/genre might find MAZE: The Mega-Burst Space to be a fun show. Oh man, just look at that cast - Mitsuishi Kotono, Orikasa Ai, Tomokazu Seki, Tange Sakura... that is an all-star mid-90s cast lol.
Couple of the more well-known/well-watched shows are obv Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, and Tenchi Muyo/Universe, all great, seems like most people have their own nostalgia trips on those. Man, I truly believe that was the golden age of anime, when the fanbase was at its peak awesomeness.

Loved the OVAs for El Hazard but I wonder how well they aged. Might marathon the first and second OVAs sometime soon just to see how they are now since I've been itching to watch that series again sometime soon. Well, any 90s anime in general but El Hazard is one of my favorites from the 90s.
Oh yeah. I remember somebody talking about that awhile back. I was going to download it, but got distracted by something, I guess. Looks like I need to do that now.
Edit: Anybody happen to know of a good xvid torrent for Michiko to Hatchin? If not, its cool. I can do mkv, but I'm lazy and want to watch it on my ps3 if possible. Lol.
I never actually finished it. When I started watching it, it was already in the middle of the series, and it was in Japanese which I knew nothing about back then.
Also, speaking of 90's anime, one I really want to re-watch is Outlaw Star. I don't remember anything in detail, but I remember thinking it was amazing back then. Anybody have a good link for that series?
i know I'm like the only person that enjoys fairy tail but there is a movie been released next year
A “Fairy Tail” film adaptation is in the works. It will be out on August 18, 2012!

Curious on what the movie will be about, recap or...?(most anime movies seem to lead toward recap and future movies new stuff).
Just finished watching Tokyo Majin on netflix and um....wat? Ending was pretty evangelionish, I have no idea what happened or if I'm just suppose to assume what happened lol.
Vampire Hunter D : Bloodlust
Good action, vampire movie![]()
So is that .hack ova that aired last year any good?
You referring to Quantum? I enjoyed it actually for just a 3-episode OVA. Pretty much three high school girls who are friends playing similar looking characters to Kite, Blackrose and Balmung and their run-in with AIDAish stuff.
Only 3? Still worth the watch? Trying to play catch up on shit I skipped on.
It's really nice, definitely worth it imo.
