As bad as the dub is, I have friends that refuse to watch anything but dubs. So, I still look forward to recommending this to them, getting called a fruit for the first 2 episodes, and then enjoying the bombshells

Dragon Ball - Episode of Bardock mango was animated.

Bardock survives after his battle against Frieza. He arrived in Planet Plant and is being treated by two aliens: the village doctor Ipana and his son Berry. He is later confronted by Chilled, Frieza's ancestor, and manages to achieved his Super Saiyan form.
I knew I was tempting fate when I said "there is no way anyone could possibly ruin DBZ canon anymore after GT"
But GT was never canon to begin with lol
Anime canon, yes, but not manga.
so this retconned faggotry isn't canon either?
Still can't say but gonna go with no.
The manga credit goes that it's written by Toriyama, but drawn by someone else.
Somehow I feel that the entire thing might actually come up a lot more epic if someone just took the art direction some other way like that Rei Gaiden of Hokuto no Ken into something less Toriyama-y
I would probably be less critical of it if I was treated to bishounen Bardock
There are people out there that still believe the DBZ movies are canon. I just laugh at that shit. Only one I can think of one that would "fit" in the timeline is Bojack.
Not exactly anime, but Witch Hunt finally released the english patch for the last Umineko Sound Novel for anyone interested. Goddamn that stuff is crazy. Pretty surprising watching how it developed from where the story started.
Just finished Wakfu S1, wanted to watch it for awhile but couldn't find any good dl's, thanks Gulk! DLing S2 and special now!
It was awesome!
Spoiler: show
Found a picture to sum it up perfectly too.

Yeah Wakfu is pretty fucking cool, too bad the MMO is so bad lol
Madoooooka~
Random question, I've been using VLC for years now to play anime that I've downloaded, but lately I keep getting a green screen and nothing else when I load some animes. Most of them I've downloaded from nyaa torrents, but some from other places work ok. Is there another media player that I should use, or a fix to VLC that will play these correctly? Audio works perfectly, just the video itself doesn't play; it does re-size itself to correct frame size though.
Obligatory VLC is ass.
Google CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) and never look back. Out of that, I use Media Player Classic to watch whatever I get.
vlc 1.1 will not play 10 bit video. You can get 1.3 which will at http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/last/
The real answer though is http://haruhichan.com/wpblog/?p=205 . And fuck cccp.
CCCP plays 10bit like ass too. At least in my experience. Manual install of MadVR or bust.
This guide is a little more palatable to me.

I just use K-lite codec with media player classic. Never had a single issue with anything.
Started Witchblade today,
Love it.
