The only Anime sites I know about are dead due to MU being taken down. What sites can I go on to watch Anime now? I'm having no luck with random Google searches.

I watched Usagi Drop based on people recommending it in the best of 2011 anime thread and figured I'd read the manga since I enjoyed the anime a lot. Rin being a teenager obviously changed the charm of the series for the worse, but I still thought Daikichi was awesome. Things just started getting strange to downright disturbing by the end of the series. Was anyone else saying what the fucking fuck by the end? If I didn't know any better, I'd think the author of the series is some old man drawing his own personal fantasy.

Almost through with the first season of Darker than Black; kind of expected it to be better based on what I'd heard, but I'm still enjoying it, just thought it'd be one of those hall mark series I'd be dying to get through. I don't know, after finishing Star Driver I was put off by being led through a story while knowing the least out of everyone involved so maybe that has had an effect.
Also a short guide to Star Driver: Ask a friend to fill you in such that you can watch episode 1, skip to 14 save the Mizuno episodes, and then watch the rest because for some fucking reason everything gets better there and is awesome.
yeah I might've just marked in mentally because that's where the opening changes, but on top of the story progressing, I noticed even the fights were driving me crazy beforehand because so much time was dedicated to the scripted actions, i.e. I'M HERE, HERE ARE MY SWORDS, THIS IS THE ATTACK THAT WORKS ON STUFF that any individual episode had all of a minute to demonstrate why this situation was different from the last and give any distinction to the enemy.
Later on they just get a lot more creative with encounters and even drop a few of the events or change which ones they show. I may have shit myself the first time Takuto just appeared with his swords ready.
Is bittorrent not an option for you? Most anime can be found there.
Yeah, most people here could have warned you about that. While I don't personally find that sort of stuff sick/disturbing, I'm sure it turned a lot of people off... though personally I won't read it just for the fact that I like the anime ideal of the story and don't want it to be marred in any way.
I pretty much thought everything went downhill post timeskip since it pretty much turned into just another high school manga
and Star Drivers is a lot better when you just don't take the entire series seriously, which shouldn't be too hard on a series where the main character title is the Ginga Bishounen.
I'll assume you're saving me about 8 hours of disappointment and say thank you.
The OVA from the BD/DVD was pretty enjoyable though.
To be honest, I enjoyed the second season. I wouldn't say I liked it as much as the first one, and the magical girl transformations were fucking retarded, but I liked Suou enough to not hate the show. The ending was bullshit tho.
OVA is obviously better, and should be watched.
Second season wasn't terrible but if you loved the first season with all your heart like Maguspk, the second season will be a severe disappointment. I liked it but it's nowhere near as good as the first season and follows a completely different path/story.
DTBs2 was pretty much what MGS2 was to gaming. Standalone, it wasn't terrible, but if you went in hoping for lots of Hei asskicking, lolnope.
I went into it hoping for more Hei kicking ass and development of Hei and Yin's relationship after the first season.
It's almost amazing just how much they manage to ruin both of those.
I just remember being really angry when 'that' happened to Hei like 5 minutes into S2 and we had a Mahou Shoujo like another 5 minutes later. Overall the music was still great though, one of my favorite parts of that series, and the ending was 'cool' but confusing and not really satisfying to me, at least. Suou wasn't bad either, it's just not what you expect after S1, at all.
