Finally got around to watching Hanasaku Iroha. Wow. That was a good show. Beautiful animation (P.A. Works, duh), well-developed characters, compelling story...10/10.

It's pretty good once you get over (if you need to) what it could have been, took me a while to get reinvested in it but I watched the whole series with no regrets.

Aren't there rumors or talks of a sequel or a movie or something bouncing around? I vaguely recall seeing something like that regarding the series. I agree with you entirely though Elcura, while I did really enjoy the series, it had great potential that it didn't quite delve into. It was also airing at the same time as this series which probably didn't help its cause as far as having a potentially good story goes.

100% agreed.

I just finished the 6th Break Blade movie. While the entire set of movies was quite good and enjoyable, the ending had me WTF'ing.

Nothing got resolved, nothing. The war is still on-going, the Kingdom is still on the verge of being annihilated, more so now that the majority of it's bots got wrecked up in that last battle, Zess still has no idea about the last condition of surrender, the super black mech which was crazy strong and agile at the beginning became a much tamer machine near the end (at the same time, you could argue that the pilot fighting experience and training have much to do for the reason behind this, but Rygart went to military school too, so that should have meant something).

I dunno, it was enjoyable, but a LOT of shit was left open-ended. And not in the good way open-ended for me anyway

Yep, loving it. Not much to talk about though, it's just entertaining. I wish the pacing would pick up a little though.

Wow. The Kenshin movie looks like it has great potential to be hot shit. The effects look awesomely done, it also seems like there is a lot of action. The only problem is it seems TOO jam packed. It looks like Sano, then Jin-e, then Kanyru, then Saitou... I'm not sure how that's all gonna fit in one movie unless it's a long-ass movie (like, LOTR-length) D:

Also, did they remove Yahiko, or is he just too minor to have a trailer? I guess I could understand removing him since he didn't really add anything important to the story, but then, neither did Sano... and Yahiko was a pretty visible character in the manga/tv series. Sano is much cooler though

Man, I can't wait for this damn movie to come out.
