Not anime, but this shit is so hilarious I felt I needed to share.
L'arc en Ciel - Tribute (the Boyz II Men one got me laughing the most)
Looking for some help finding new anime to watch. What are some good movies/series that are not full of loli's and extreme fanservice?
What do you recommend for someone that has no interest in moe and or anything set in a high school?
edit: also some visually stunning recommendations would be nice too
REDLINE:
Hellsing Ultimate:
Sword Of The Stranger:
Steins;Gate:
Mardock Scramble:
Baccano
Fate/Zero
Umineko no Naku Koro ni was licensed by NIS American recently. Plans for a premium edition dvd/bd release in December.
Just like with Occult Academy's NA release this will probably just be subbed only.
oh desire
So, I watched an anime called No. 6, started out awesome... then the gay shit began....
INITIAL D SEASON 5 CONFIRMED. FUCK YEAH.

Initial D Hyper Mega Mix

Truly a megamix appropriate for the occasion. I only wish it had Night of Fire and Forever Young lol.
Any word at all when Hellsing Ultimate X coming out?
EDIT: Wikipedia says December and I just checked it yesterday so did new info about it come out?
EDIT: Also where can I find a Hellsing: The Dawn 2? It was supposed to have come out with IX but I can't find it anywhere.
Fuck yeah INITIAL D!

So what do you guys consider as fanservice? To me it's like a coin because the sides are viewed differently by people.
This is fanservice a typical person would except, minus visible tits:
While I don't mind that, gulk sure as hell doesn't either, it bugs some people a lot.
The other side is something someone would get all excited over, if mentioned or shown as a cameo, in a meta series or a studio's previous work in their new series.
Such as the MS-06 Borjarnon from Turn ∀ Gundam as an example.
It's obviously a nudge towards the Zaku 2 from 0079 Gundam.
I'm curious what you guys think because it bugs the shit out of certain people.
The occasional homage is fine. Fanservice in the form of T&A doesn't bug me, either. Sex sells, feminist prudes, blah blah.
