I might have to make Kokoro Connect my favorite show. I can't get over how much I loved it. The characters, the drama, the romance, the VAs, the animation, the pure hnnnnngggggg moments and the nonononononononofuckyounononono moments. Inaba was just so damn cute during certain parts I'd rewind and watch it again.

Looking at the wiki the next two phenomenons are called "fantasy projection" and "perspective dreamland". I'd love to see those animated.

Yeah I guess that's true about Seirei no Moribito. It did kinda go off on some tangents that never really went anywhere. I can't help but wonder if they were anticipating another season that never came so they just ended it in a rush, and I agree that the ending isn't nearly as good as the rest of the series. But it wasn't a terrible or unrealistic ending either considering the endings most animes get.

If the whole act of getting the egg to that location is so important to the vitality of the land, you don't freaking lock that knowledge into a hole and forget all about it. Basically, it was dumb luck that the prince got there as a result.

So, if there was meant to be more, I could maybe see that point. I liked Balsa, and it's rare to get a good female lead. I just wish her world was better.

The star readers pretty much said at the end that they were full of themselves the past hundred years and stopped paying attention to the old knowledge. The fact that they locked that stuff up and didn't decipher it was only because they thought they were better than that old knowledge. Not heeding the past is definitely a thing governments do, especially when their country is prosperous. When the country took such a quick and unexpected turn for the worse, and especially regarding something "pagan" that they were trying to cast away/grow out of, they had no idea what to do about it using the new ways of doing things. They could only fix it by learning the old knowledge which many in the government thought they didn't need anymore. So I'm not really surprised that they would lock that stuff away and ignore it, historical records like that are only paid attention to by many when there is a specific problem to solve.

I was literally unable to walk away or stop watching for at least the first 4~5 hours, so if you're one for marathoning I'd recommend that and advise to make sure you won't be interrupted. :3

Meh, the romance development in SAO was better than the development in a lot of the other anime I've watched. I'm starting to think now that the action and fights were so unbelievably good that all the faults were faded. I mean damn, just look at the frame used by youtube for a thumbnail.

While I'm sure the usual suspects will call it the worst show evar, I'd say it's worth a round for a mix of the music and animation with the occasional fight.

It's definitely not worth it. Download the music (it is pretty nice) and watch some fights on youtube, because the in-between is awful.

Toei announced on Thursday that its film remake of Leiji Matsumoto's Space Pirate Captain Harlock anime will open this fall. Toei made the announcement during its Tokyo unveiling of its film lineup.

Writer Harutoshi Fukui (Mobile Suit Gundam UC novels, live-action Bōkoku no Aegis) reconstructed the story to reflect the themes of modern society, and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) is directing with the latest filmmaking technology. According to the news source Oricon, this film has Toei Animation's highest production budget ever at the equivalent of over 30 million U.S. dollars.

Pretty late to say but I just finished marathoning Kokoro Connect... I couldn't stop watching it! Dem FEELS man. This one was fantastic, I might end up buyfagging the series on blu ray.
