Haven't seen an update for the Manga in a long while

Random and unrelated to the above post; the last couple raw chapters of "Baby Steps", our favourite non-superpowered tennis anime/manga, seems to be developing a live-action version of the manga. No idea if it's TV or film as I don't read moonspeak, but yeah, just thought I'd toss that out there since I remember there being a bit of a following for it.
Edit: Looks like it's coming out in July and will be a TV-series.
Could be pretty good. The anime does a great job of adapting the manga, and because of how mostly realistic the manga is, I feel like the show should be able to adapt it well too. So we'll see.
Was randomly reminded of Danmachi while doing some manga skimming earlier, and in see that, I've found translated stuff seems behind the anime and slightly omitted some things. Was this a LN first with the manga version just slowly catching up, or did it wind up on some break for whatever reason? Just basically makes me think an S2 is forever away.
It was definitely LN first that got turned into an anime and manga at roughly the same time(I think). Anime was definitely using the LN as it's primary source, not the manga.
Clannad, yay or nay?
My helpdesk team introduced me to it. It looks like a severe feels trap? lol. I'm just wondering if it's as sad/depressing as they make it out to be.
It is. Do it anyway.
It's gives you a preview to the other side of anime.

Wait, what do you mean "other side"? A realistic/RL perspective? Or ...
Yeah. Slice of life is a RL perspective.

Ohhh right I gotcha. Ok I go get it, plus tissues/peanut butter/ice cream lol
Clannad is definitely a watch. Yes it's a rollercoaster of feels but the ride is worth it. As usual the LN is better but the anime adaptation (both Clannad and Clannad: After Story) do a good job of hitting the relevant points. Stay away from the Toei movie version at all costs. That one is just terrible.
I hope you enjoy crying because you will be crying (it is really good though).
After Story is the tears, the stuff before is general KEY shit though there are nice moments.
Ushio is the cutest thing as well.
You give this series to the bae you want to introduce to anime before you hit her with the likes of Jojo or Panty / Stocking

Never really got into myself. For my feelfest I always go back to Kimi ga Nozumo Eien. For something more recent and with some action Charlotte was pretty good too. And a Robotics; notes and Steins; Gate were both pretty heavy on the feels in the second half of them when not fighting giant mindfucks and conspiracies
Same. I've never like the idea of balling my eyes out to something. . . and then doing it all over again for the same troup just different characters. But this series was, at least for me, a decent intro to the genre.
If you end up enjoying Clannad/After Story, give Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) a try afterwards.
Hahaha nah I won't ball my eyes out. At most i'll just find it sad with tears rolling out. I won't be sobbing or crying to sleep or anything! xD
Thanks for the other recommendations. I'll just start with Clannad for now. Robotic and the Steins series I already got but never made my way around to them. I'll probably grab the rest and see how I feel later.
A second season is kind of odd considering the anime went off into its own ending, separate from the manga's story. But whatever I guess lol.
