Haven't gotten much further in 0 yet, but I kind of figured it wouldn't hold up to s1. Most of what was great about S1 was, which was obviously not nearly as prevalent in 0.Spoiler: show
Darling the Franxxx is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Just finished episode 2 with the introduction on how the mechs are “piloted” lmao.
Yeah, the show is absurd, but it's a pretty fun watch overall
This arc of DanMachi is soo good, but it also feels like it's getting them forever to get out haha - like on one hand I'm really itching for a conclusion to the current danger, on the other it's not like I want this to end
It's just unfortunate some will never touch the show between its name and some fan service.
Finished Darling in the Franxxx.
Spoiler: show
Just got done watching the last two episodes of the entertainment district arc of Demon Slayer and the first episode of Swordsmith Village arc at Harkins. They upgraded the Akaza summoning scene in the infinity castle and the background music was perfect. Got goosebumps. Sadly we've got a month to wait to start watching new episodes.
Anime related. April 23rd and 27th at select theaters
Okay BG, it’s been several days now and I still need to fill this colossal void left in my heart by Darling in the Franxxx. I’ve already seen all the other Studio Trigger projects.
Is Guilty Crown any good?
Great music, story is such a mess you want to turn around but kinda can't stop looking at it
If you want some other weird mecha action, it's an oldie, but did you ever see Aquarion? Or even better, Eureka Seven
Actually, I have NOT seen Eureka Seven!
I do know it’s one of those classic animes that’s held in high regard. And apparently it’s right up my alley of what I’m looking for lol.
Eureka Seven is one of my favorite anime. I can't recommend it enough. It will seem really weird at times but stick with it. Everything will be explained. I've heard some people say it gets to sappy as it goes along, but I'm just and ol' softy.

Guilty Crown isn't very good, unfortunately. Can't say I'd recommend E7, either, but my tolerance for whiny kid MCs is pretty low and throwing mecha on top rarely fixes it. Far as older shows go, I vaguely recall enjoying Suisei no Gargantia if you want at least some giant robot influence.
The original anime is great. One of my all time favourites as well. The sequel E7: AO is.... yeaaaaah. Honestly the idea they had for the plot was really really good. But how they executed telling the story and basically leaving all the good shit packed into the final episode or 2 (after being preceeded by like 24 episodes of meh) was just really disappointed.
The first movie is some weird 'alternative story' off-shoot that has nothing to do with the original other then having the same characters. Can skip it. And I haven't seen Hi-Evolution at all. But this song from the 2nd movie makes it seem pretty awesome actually, so I might eventually check it out. I imagine Hi-Evolution is a re-telling of the story
I know it's not random anime, but I just finished all released Demon Slayer episodes. Holy shit, both Mugen Train and RLD were insanely good. I'm glad season 3 is right around the corner. Really might be some of the best animation I have seen for a TV anime. I gotta get back to ufotable's other stuff.
