Okay BG, it’s been several days now and I still need to fill this colossal void left in my heart by Darling in the Franxxx. I’ve already seen all the other Studio Trigger projects.

Guilty Crown, I only watched it back then because I knew eren yaegar's VA was the voice of the main char. Music is great but isn't much to watch really.

On the subject of classic mecha anime, hmmm .... Zone of the Enders? Main char is a dad who pilots a mysterious pilot controlled and voiced by a cute girl AI, tagged along by his teenage son and daughter, goes into space to find their mom.

Honestly that game and anime came out at the wrong time. It had an OVA, a 24 episode anime, 2 main games even and a GBA game but the distribution channels were not main stream and came out at a time when anime would only be popular to the few that knew. The anime is average but I enjoyed it as I liked the ZOE world back then, and the story is fairly basic.

Bocchi the Rock is so fucking good y'all. If you haven't seen it yet, drop whatever garbage you're watching and check it out. It's one of the best comedy SoLs I've ever seen, up there with Nichijou, albeit much less over-the-top.

So I initially was skeptical of Oshi no Ko because all I had seen was a blurb about the plot that made me think it was gonna be skeevy nonsense, but it's not that kind of show. That said, jesus fucking christ I'm glad I checked it out, because holy shit. Premiere was basically feature length.
